Enough said, just go you won't regret it. Parkings fill pretty quickly, but it is easy to find free street parking on weekend a block away from the museums. More

The greatest new buliding in Raleigh for many years! The exhibits will turn lots of young people into scientists! Working labs surround the exhibit area with natural scientist working in plain view with opportunities for kids to do their hands-on experimentation. A great education venue located inside a 60 foot diameter globe is the signature of the new building! More

This is a wonderful, and admission free, place to take kids ages 2 and up. Recent renovations make it a world class museum. Across the plaza is a recently updated NC History Museum that should also not be missed. More

My husband and I came with an hour left of it being open. Not aware of how big this place is, we only got To see things very quickly. I am definately making a point to go back when I'm in NC again, and I'm taking my daughters. This is a great place to visit! Just give yourself a couple... More

Of, course, this is getting a major revamp but between this and the NC Museum of History we got a great introduction to our adopted state when we moved here. Very nicely laid out with some terrific displays of dinosaurs, natural ecosystems across NC and others More
