Our first trip to Pinehurst to play where the pros play. Sad to say this particular golf course is in serious need of care. The fairways are passable, the rough is non-existent, the tee boxes are torn up, the sand bunkers are not the fluffy sand Pinehurst is known for; I could go on but I think you get the... More

This is a Jack Nicklaus course that in typical Nicklaus fashion borders on unplayable for the average golfer. Tee shots are demanding, all approaches require that you fly the ball on the green in that there are a variety of hazards in front of every green. Once on the green there is so much sloe that if you are not... More

Ate lunch here with business associates. The customer service was great, lunches arranged/taste good, and well prices. There are views to the course and the atmosphere was nice. Overall, a great place for business lunches if you're a member.

We played 36 holes with a morning and afternoon tee time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Gerry was the starter and gave us some great tips on club selection and reading the greens. The course was in great shape as well and the greens were rolling fast and true. We stopped for lunch in the grill and the... More

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this is arguably the best course in Pinehurst. It is also the most difficult. I have played them all.

Good course. Very demanding. No similar holes. great test of your skills/or lack thereof. There are free range balls and stocked pro shop with knowledgeable and helpful staff.

This course is absolutely beautiful. It harkens back to the old days of golf in the South. Golf History abounds. Make sure you find the Little Putter statue that used to be on the Lawn. He is now in the clubhouse. Give Payne Stewart a fist bump. Everyone we encountered at the clubhouse was very friendly and helpful. If you... More

Well manicured and in good shape considering the rain they have had lately. Has a very Carolina feel with tall pine trees and sandy waste areas. Pro shop and staff very helpful. I recommend it and will come back.

The historic Pinehurst Golf Club and golf courses. It dates back to 1895, when Mr. Tufts first envisioned a place for Tuberculosis patients to recuperate. Nothing was even on the radar as far as golf was concerned. With visitors engaging in hitting a little white feathery with a long stick, with a wooden mallet on it, golf was born in... More
