My husband played it last week and it was a thrill for him to do so and he shot a 92 which is pretty good! Hard and challenging but a golfer's dream to play this famous course where Payne Stewart won! Check out the bronze statue of Payne's famous stance as he won the Open! More

Take a caddie and walk if you can. Great experience. Very helpful caddie. Saved me 6-9 strokes reading the greens. More

This is one of America's truly great Top 10 courses and is considered such by every golf reviewer you can think of. The two US Opens will be on this course in 2014, so what more is there to say? More

I was able to enjoy playing #2 for the first time. We had caddies (I would recommend), and walked the course. The greens are killer hard, but I really enjoyed the round. Very historic clubhouse, and well-kept grounds. A must for true golfing enthusiasts! More

With over 100,000 clumps of 'monkey grass' growing, sand mounds lining the fairways the NEW Pinehurst #2 is truly a jewel! The greens are the same fast, tricky, inverted saucers that they were but the trac itself is now sculpted to a by-gone time making driving accuracy more essential and shot making paying a higher premium. One note if you... More

Look. It is a great course and the greens in particular are very tough. I'm personally not sure about all the waste bunkers. I know that is how the course was originally designed and I understand the desire to be true to the original plans. However, for me it just makes the course look a little scrubby. It certainly didnt... More

I have always been a fan of #2, but the new redesign gives the course a great look. The greens are still the stiffest challenge, but the unkept sand areas give the fairways a little more definition than before. As before, one of the great things about #2 is that you will usually play 18 holes with one ball. Hardly... More

If you love golf, Pinehurst #2 is a must do. The course is fantastic, but very challenging. I would STRONGLY recommend walking the course and using a caddie for the full experience. More
