No visit to Ocracoke is complete without a visit to the Deepwater Theater. Don't go expecting a Broadway experience, because you won't get that. What you will get is a casual, fun time with a variety of very talented local musicians, storytellers, and comedians. The theater only holds a few hundred people, so every performance is up close and personal.

$18 adults, 9 children. Very good music. We went on Wed. night to the Ocrafolk Opry. Many different and very accomplished musicians. Fun for the family in the evening on Ocracoke when not much else is going on! (The theater only has a port-o-potty, so use your facilities before you arrive.)

My husband, 8 year old daughter and I went to see the Ocrafolk show while on vacation. We all had a great time. It was better than we expected. What a great group of people! Can't wait to see it again next year!
