We've enjoyed watching this museum grow from the time when our kids were young. Now we take our grandkids here. Even toddlers can learn from the displays - and so can the adults. Especially like the touch tank with its surrounding displays that allow you to closely examine marine specimens. Our 4-yr-old granddaughter was fascinated by what she could see... More

Great museum and fun to visit on Ocean Isle Beach. The kids loved it and so did I. Would recommend this for a few hours.

This is a good place to visit if you need an activity. While very educational, it is not very interactive for children. Our kids did enjoy seeing all of the display fish, turtles and other ocean animals hanging from the ceiling; however, they did get a little bored. It would be nice to have a few more displays of real... More

As expected with vacation places, was a little pricey, but it was a great thing to do with the kids on a super hot day. Saw lots of neat things about sharks and the staff was excellent!!

It was nice to have the museum within walking distance from our house. It was educational and a good change when you don't feel like it being a "beach day".

My husband and I visit this little museum every year when we come to OIB for vacation. They are great to military families. This year we came with a couple of kids and they loved it! They give kids a scavenger hunt to do, which was a lot of fun. They really enjoyed the touch tank and the bridge area.... More

We had a little extra time so we stopped by and looked around. Every room was interesting. We especially loved the touch tank where you can touch horseshoe crabs and sea anemia. Great place if you have some spare time.
