Being a born and bred Tar Heel and a history buff I wish that there was more interactive history shared in this store. Having audio of in the Birthplace of Pepsi would add to the experience.

We visited the Pepsi store and talked to the worker - had a nice chat, enjoyed a fountain Pepsi. There are a lot of trinkets with the Pepsi & Mountain Dew logos.

It was good to see it, but it is just a basic soda fountain and merchandise shop, think they could have made more of it. (And had replicas for sale of some of the more fun historical merchandise). A little pricey, but staff were very friendly and helpful. Certainly see it if you are in town!

We all know about the other cola but I bet you didn't know that the birthplace of Pepsi is in the quaint little town of Bern, NC. and the inventor was a pharmacist. Not only can you enjoy a Pepsi, but you can also have one of the other drinks by Pepsi bottling company. After quenching your thirst or before.don't... More

I really enjoyed my visit to the birthplace of Pepsi. I watched my family drink Pepsi and related products for years. The video about Pepsi and its history is well done! If you are a history buff, take the time to see a part of America capitalism's rich history.

Just a place to by Pepsi souvenirs and maybe drink a Pepsi from and old fashioned fountain. A few historical facts and pictures. Fun to say you were there, but not really worth going out of your way to get there...

Can't visit New Bern without seeing the 'birthplace of Pepsi'! A quick stop here will do as there is not much to see. It's now just a store with Pepsi merchandise and a little restaurant.

Visited with 2 sons (21 & 14) and wife. Really enjoyed the visit and didn't feel like we were being hit up to buy everything. We ordered a couple Pepsi's and a Pepsi Float. The prices were very reasonable and it was a nice history lesson on Pepsi and the country. We loved the links to North Carolina.

It is a small shop and not like the Coca Cola plant in Atlanta however they have the original Pepsi recipe posted. They serve original Pepsi and Mtn Dew from fountain and for $1 or less. I enjoyed the shop but I knew not to expect a huge place to tour. Well staffed and very courteous.
