We took the sunset cruise when the dolphins are most active and saw dolphins within the first 15 minutes and throughout the cruise. They were pounding the water with their tails, leaping in the air etc. so great viewing. A number of parents brought very small children who were either overtired or hungry (2 hour cruise leaving at 5:30) so... More

We had a great time on an afternoon cruise and saw tens of dolphins. Our captain and first mate (Jess) were very knowledgeable about dolphins and the Outer Banks ecosystem in general. We saw between 30 and 40 dolphins over the course of the 2 hour cruise.

We took our 3 year old son on this. He enjoyed seeing the dolphins and being on the boat. It was fun for the my wife and myself too. We saw many dolphins on the tour. In addition to the crew being knowledgeable about marine life, they also were able to provide interesting information about the history of the area.... More

Our 9 year old girls are obsessed with dolphins. This is an awesome, all age adventure to take when you are visiting the OBX. A couple had a newborn and my 70+ year old parents went. NC has strict no harassment laws for the dolphins so we are only able to observe them. The Captain John and Jess the Marine... More

The tour is guided by a knowledgeable captain and a graduate marine biologist Jess. This IS NOT just dolphin watching, this is a scientific adventure. Once you find the dolphins, (we must have seen about 25 total) , the children on the boat will help Jess record data about the air, salinity of the water, and water temperature at which they... More

An awesome activity to do with children! Very kid friendly, but also informative and interesting for adults. It was a wonderful afternoon outing.

Captain John and his first mate, Jess were friendly, knowledgeable tour guides. We found the dolphins and watched them for as long as we were allowed (so as not to harass them). Jess let our daughter and the another child on board help her take environmental data for the ongoing research. Don't miss it!

This is a must do for families or couples. My wife and I enjoyed the knowledgeable Marine Biologist and our bot captain. We were fortunate and spotted pods early. We were able to remain with a couple of groups for almost 45 minutes and saw a couple of younger dolphins in a group. Bring binoculars for an extra close look... More

The marine biologist on the boat was great. She was informative and great with the kids – and adults – answering all our questions. We saw many dolphins during the cruise and our kids (6 and 8) could even identify Moe and Curly (male dolphins) by the end.

Great marine biologist explained all that you'd ever want to know about these dolphins and you get to see them up close. Great for kids as well as adults of any age. Smooth sailing and amazing views.
