We took this outing because our granddaughter is crazy about dolphins! I must say we were not disappointed. I thought the trip was going to be about three hours but it was only about 1.75 hours which turned out to be good as the younger kids were getting a bit antsy by then. The boat is a pontoon boat which... More

This is a great attraction. The boat is comfortable. You will see dolphins. The only issues I had was that it was suppose to be 2.5 hours of fun it was only about 1.75 hours. The captain and naturalist was very good. I will go back.

This is a great and affordable attraction. The boat is comfortable and shaded. The captain and naturalists on board go out of their way to be informative and are experts at finding dolphins. Additionally, we had a 2 1/2 year old in our group and they engaged her in activities during the tour which she loved. The tour lasts for... More

We took the sunset cruise when the dolphins are most active and saw dolphins within the first 15 minutes and throughout the cruise. They were pounding the water with their tails, leaping in the air etc. so great viewing. A number of parents brought very small children who were either overtired or hungry (2 hour cruise leaving at 5:30) so... More

We had a great time on an afternoon cruise and saw tens of dolphins. Our captain and first mate (Jess) were very knowledgeable about dolphins and the Outer Banks ecosystem in general. We saw between 30 and 40 dolphins over the course of the 2 hour cruise.

We took our 3 year old son on this. He enjoyed seeing the dolphins and being on the boat. It was fun for the my wife and myself too. We saw many dolphins on the tour. In addition to the crew being knowledgeable about marine life, they also were able to provide interesting information about the history of the area.... More

Our 9 year old girls are obsessed with dolphins. This is an awesome, all age adventure to take when you are visiting the OBX. A couple had a newborn and my 70+ year old parents went. NC has strict no harassment laws for the dolphins so we are only able to observe them. The Captain John and Jess the Marine... More

The tour is guided by a knowledgeable captain and a graduate marine biologist Jess. This IS NOT just dolphin watching, this is a scientific adventure. Once you find the dolphins, (we must have seen about 25 total) , the children on the boat will help Jess record data about the air, salinity of the water, and water temperature at which they... More

An awesome activity to do with children! Very kid friendly, but also informative and interesting for adults. It was a wonderful afternoon outing.

Captain John and his first mate, Jess were friendly, knowledgeable tour guides. We found the dolphins and watched them for as long as we were allowed (so as not to harass them). Jess let our daughter and the another child on board help her take environmental data for the ongoing research. Don't miss it!
