The marine biologist on the boat was great. She was informative and great with the kids – and adults – answering all our questions. We saw many dolphins during the cruise and our kids (6 and 8) could even identify Moe and Curly (male dolphins) by the end.

Great marine biologist explained all that you'd ever want to know about these dolphins and you get to see them up close. Great for kids as well as adults of any age. Smooth sailing and amazing views.

Took the Dolphin Watch trip with our family and grandchildren, age 3 & 5. Saw lots of dolphins. Well worth it. We especially enjoyed the hands on session at the end of the watch given by Jessie. She was quite knowledgeable and allowed the children to be involved in the science of the research of dolphins. We originally chose this... More

The tour started off a little weird, waiting at the dock with the captain sitting out on the boat not looking at anyone or saying anything, and then we all had to go to a different dock at the last minute because the water at the main dock was too shallow to load everyone. But once the tour got going... More

We had a lovely time on this dolphin watch. I had booked the trip mostly for an activity that would be good for my elderly mother. I was looking for a nice boat ride on a stable craft, and was considering seeing any dolphins as a bonus. We didn't see any for almost an hour into the trip - but... More

We have vacationed in the Outer Banks a few times now but have never gone dolphin watching. I'm so glad that we finally did it! Just an amazing experience! Fun pontoon ride, nice and informative guides, and many many beautiful, friendly, up close dolphins!!

After the first 25 minutes, I was prepared not to see any dolphins and just enjoy the boat ride. However, we soon found ourselves watching about 10 dolphins swim, jump and spray for 45 minutes....the longest time you can legally observe dolphins in the wild. Great photos and the staff was friendly and we learned many things about dolphins. My... More

This was so much fun. The Marine Biologist on board was very informed and knew the actual dolphins that we were seeing. The boat ride alone was very relaxing and I love that we had a shelter. I would recommend!

We loved this dolphin tour. We had 5 kids with us from age 2 to 16 and they all called this one of their favorite things we did while on vacation. The captain was extremely nice, funny, insightful and accomodating. We got to see lots of dolphins and even lighthouses! So fun.

Our 2 hour tour was quite beautiful. It was great seeing the sound side of the Outer Banks. The ride was very pleasant, not bumpy or choppy. Great views of Bodie Island Lighthouse. I enjoyed our ride through the fishing village. The captain had a great sense of humor and our naturalist was very friendly. Both were very informative. We... More
