My tour guide was Ashley for the Durham pub crawl/haunted adventure. We had such a great time, Ashley was upbeat and I felt like she really enjoys what she does. This pub crawl opened my eyes to parts of Durham I was unaware of. I'll definitely be recommending Tobacco Road Tours to my friends!

Ashley, a.k.a. Miss Fortune, was a very good tour guide. We were excellent listeners and enjoyed ourselves at the many bars that we went to. We especially liked the bar with the fancy drinks (Alley 26) and the funky dive bar (Pinhook). Tyler's was overwhelming busy so we DID NOT receive our free appetizer. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience... More

I had a 3 day business meeting in Raleigh with team members from the Northern states that I'd never met. I wanted a relaxing team event and found Tobacco Road Tours. Brad customized a tour of Raleigh for us, picking us up at the office, showing us the sights and dropping us off back at the office at the end.... More

Ashley was an excellent tour guide! We had a blast learning about the history and haunts of downtown Durham. Even though we live here, we learned a lot and saw she really cool locations. The bars we went to were all cool and varied in their offerings. The guide tailored the tour to her audience, which made it extra awesome.... More

Sean Finn was our tour guide and he was prompt, he spoke clearly and loudly enough that everyone in the group could easily hear him. Half the group deserted toward the end of the tour but it was due to one's child was getting scared, another couple's older mother was getting tired, and the other was a couple who were... More

I was in the Raleigh area for our family reunion and we had a bus tour with Brad as the tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm as we toured the Raleigh - Durham area. He knew and shared it all...the good and not so good history about the area. He was great in all aspects, even... More

We are empty nesters who have visited over 90% of the “good old USA”. We have had average tours, good tours, and “I can’t’ wait to get off of this van” tours. Last week, however, we had the pleasure to experience an outstanding, private tour of Raleigh and Durham with Brad from Tobacco Road Tours. Brad was informative, entertaining and... More

The evening was perfect, the sun setting and meeting on the Court House steps facing the foregone remnants of what use to be a grand hotel. Our tour-guide, Brad was AWESOME! He took us through the streets of Raleigh stopping a several buildings (some gave off a vibe as you approached, not knowing that he was going to stop and... More
