Biggest complaint is the cost of water slide for campers and the locals swarming to the campgrounds swimming hole.

Have not camped at Steele Creek just day trips and picnics. The water is cold and families can make some great memories. It is always a challenge to see who will go off the diving board first into the cold cold water.

This is a great place for camping out as well as cooling off. The water is always icey cold. Enjoy! There are also showers available. I grew up camping at Steele Creek. Good variety of activities from swimming, low and high diving boards, water slide, putt putt, game room, and church services on Sunday mornings. There is a respected quiet time at night so no loud campers keeping you awake all night. There is fishing and tubing. Go for the day, or bring your tent... More

Been here for several church events but never stayed overnight. The facilities seem in good condition for a campground and they have a decent variety of things for children to do there. Water slides, mini golf, swimming, dancing, basketball and a swing set. There maybe more deeper in the park but I haven't poked around too much.

Beautiful campground with plenty of room for kids to ride bikes and play. They have a dance every Saturday night that everyone is invited to and lots of trails for walking and hiking. Great family time.

A simple swimming hole that my grandson loved. Tubing is excellent, as is the water slide and snacks.
