We drove from Michigan for a long weekend of diving in North Carolina with Olympus dive center. They did not disappoint. We stayed at their "dive locker" for 3 nights. Good alternative if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel. There are details on their website. On the first morning of diving it seemed like... More

I have dove with both major outfits out of this area, and consider Olympus to be the best, by a long shot. The shop is laid out well, and everything flows. The tanks are outside and there is a nice bench area to test your Nitrox. Then a short (20' maybe) walk to the boat and you are ready to... More

Olympus is a full service dive center. My son and grandson both got certified there and now I am going through tec training working on my tri-mix course. The boats, all three of them, are awesome and in fantastic condition, the staff is knowledgeable and the instructor cadre is nothing short of awesome. The diving off-shore North Carolina is also... We had booked both the morning 2-tank and the afternoon 1-tank charters for Aug 12-13. The didn't exactly cooperate though so we only got to do the 2 morning charters. I was a bit disappointed because we only saw one shark and we didn't get to go to the dive sites we wanted. Again, it wasn't the shop's fault, the... More

Came to Olympus Dive Center with a group from my local shop, and spent three days going out on the "Midnight Express." I found ODC's boarding process to be very efficent, the staff in the shop and on the boat (Mike, John and John) were all friendly and willing to lend a hand as required or asked. Personnel accounting systems... More

I went there on a beautiful October weekend with flat seas and sunny skies. That always helps. The dive boats are quite large and stable. Rented tanks and got two AA95 with H-valves. I was on the boat Olympus, with room for 27 divers. The diving deck is spaceous, and there is a sundeck upstairs, and a lounge with benches,... More
