Having quality time with family - this is the place to be. Young and old -we always have a wonderful time at Lazy 5. Nice staff. Riding the wagon and feeding the animals are always a delight. Plus the homemade ice cream after the ride is perfect! Bonus would be petting the animals in their cages after the wagon ride.... More

If you're looking for a great day outdoors with the kids? Than this is the place. They have a great drive thru animal park unlike anything outside of Disney or Great Adventure. Plus the kids can feed all the animals during your drive. Pickup trucks are awesome for the kids to ride in the back and feed them.

My family & I had a wonderful time here!!! *tip don't let the animals eat from the bucket!! They take them. Hahaha yup we totally learned from experience & at the beginning of the ride too! The employees don't tell you that either. We still made the best of it & had fun! :-) my son was Soo happy.

This ranch is full of animals to see but what makes it different is you can just drive through in your own vehicle and get close-up looks at the animals. Some of the animals come up to your window and really get close!!! Children love to get close to these animals. But it's also a good place to take your... More

Enjoyed taking visiting family. Lots of animal to see & feed. If the weather is nice, can't beat the wagon rides. The animals come right up to beg for food. Staff is friendly.A bit of a ride to get to & a bit pricey for a large group, otherwise great fun.

Be aware that this is a hot spot for summer camp field trips. Although the children would go on the big wagon through the ranch, the enclosed exhibits can be a bit crowded when the camps visit. Ditto on the playground and picnic tables. Slow going through the beginning when cars barely move due to the novelty of emus, goats,... More

Be sure and buy lots of animal food for your drive thru the park. All kinds of animals and birds come to your windows to be fed or petted and glad we drove my older jeep. I was thrilled to have tiny pot bellied pigs coming to my door and there were lots of squeals and excitment when a bull... More

Lazy 5 Ranch is one of our "must do" experiences when we have young guess at our Mooresville NC lake house. It is a drive-through animal park featuring several hundred exotic and farm animals. The ranch has picnic areas, animal petting areas and a variety of interesting and educational exhibits. Most important to the kids is the Lazy 5 Ranch... More
