My husband and I stumbled upon the Lazy 5 Ranch and were SO excited for the opportunity to interact with the animals. (By driving through in our car) The giraffes put their head in our sunroof, the animals came right up to our windows and we loved seeing them. However.....when you pay to enter in your car, apparently you are... More

It's a gem of a place. We've been at least 5 times and it doesn't get old. It's a wonderful family activity. It's a little bit of a drive, but worth it. Afterall they need the large amount of land to offer a great number of species, like yaks, zebras, giraffes, lots and lots of pot bellied pigs, ostrich's, and... More

Grab your camera, buy and extra bucket of feed, hop on the horse drawn wagon and get ready to watch your kids laugh all afternoon. (and my kid is 21) The critters run right up to the wagon and you can feed them. Everything from cute little pot bellied pigs to buffalo. The adults on the tour had as much... More

I have been wanting to come here for years. Did not realize it was a large as it actually is. The prices are reasonable and great for a family getaway. Allow yourself at least 2 hours to get thru it all. I think we were there longer than that. When you arrive you drive up straight to the admission both,... More

A bit of a hike from Charlotte. Overall very fun. Animals look almost inbred and do want to get in your car with you, so plan to drive a POS or take the wagon tour. More

Wonderful experience. Well worth the entrance fee. Great for children, adults and seniors. An experience you will never forget. You have a choice of driving your own car or taking the wagon ride. This particular time we took our own car (try not to take newer cars for the some animals with hoofs like the goats will tend to scratch... More

We LOVE the Lazy Five Ranch. Where else can you get up close and personal with dozens of species of animals. My kids enjoy this place more than most anywhere we've ever been! More
