This winery is on the outskirts of Monroe NC. The wine is made with muscadine grapes grown there. Muscadine is a rather sweet grape BUT they seem to get some less sweet wines made also. One that comes to mind is Tack Shack. They have activities every week, and there are treehouses to rent which is fun. We live in... More

Now, I live about ten minutes away from Treehouse. When I saw that area of town had a vineyard, I thought it was ridiculous. To get there, you do go through a (for lack of a better phrase) "poorer" section of town. This will lead someone to believe that having a winery there is ridiculous, and that it just has... More

Papa's Dream at the Treehouse Vineyards is simply way cool. We visited in late October and were warmly greeted by the staff upon check-in. The treehouse is located at the backside of the winery giving it more privacy than one might expect. During the day you can see a couple of folks waking around the winery property but there is... How anyone could think this place is nice is beyond me. I have previous experience with many vineyards both in California, Michigan, Virginia and the Carolinas. This by far is the WORST vineyard (if you can call it a vineyard) EVER! I would recommend not wasting your time here...go up to Childress or Weathervane or anywhere else but this place.... More

As others have pointed out you will think you're lost going through a neighborhood. Then when you pull up to the winery its a pleasant surprise. Nice view of the property from the tree house. I like sweet wines so their wines were good to me. Tasted 8 different wines and a Wine A Rita. My favorite wine of theirs... More

The wine is terrible here and the property is located in the ghetto's. We went on a groupon and with the reviews you would think this place would be nice. After driving an hour from Charlotte we arrived and the place was so sketchy my wife thought for sure we were in the wrong place. This place has porta john... More

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the winery. The grounds were so pretty which we couldn't see when we arrived We enjoyed the wines and purchased the wine a Rita package to share with family because it's unique. We will go back

I purchased a Groupon and for the price decided it was a great deal and worth the 30 minute drive to Monroe. It was a Saturday evening and very festive. Lots of people for tasting and just hanging around on the property enjoying the day, views and wine. The tasting and tour were very enjoyable and informative. If you do... More

My wife and I visited Treehouse and it was an enjoyable afternoon. They take you through the wine making process which might be of interest to some. The wine they make is good, not outstanding but good. Realize ahead of time that the only grape they grow is muscadine, all of the other varietals come from vineyards in western North... More

Well we visited and we tasted and we brought home some of their excellent wine. The ladies who did the wine tasting were excellent explaining the different types of wine and how they were grown and processed. They were very knowledgeable about the winery itself and the owners. Enjoyable way to spend your day.
