The wine is average at best, it may be that we don't prefer sweet wines. This winery has a lot of sweet wines and in our opinion they aren't made very well, just our opinion. They also charge $7 for a tasting fee and claim to have 12 wines, only 6 were available. However if you like N. Carolina wines... More

This was the final stop of 3 on our winery tour for our group of 19 visiting the Chapel Hill area. Since we had called ahead, they had a reception area at a seated table set up for us after the tour portion concluded. Our group enjoyed the tasting and appreciated the knowledgable presenter. We were impressed with a portion... More

I've been to more wineries than the average bear, and have recently started exploring the NC options. This was one of the best wineries that I've been to yet in the state. They did a seated wine tasting of 12+ wines, with a very knowledgeable staff member that knew lots of information on the wines (much more than your typical... More

My husband and I visited this winery since it was fairly local to the Raleigh area. We weren't huge fans of the wine, but enjoyed the winery tour and the tasting. There are tables set up outside in a quaint garden setting. We were hoping to be able to enjoy lunch there, but the tables are available for sitting a... More

This was our first winery stop while in NC. Luckily we did not judge the entire state by it. The wines to me were harsh. Not in an overly dry way, just harsh. First time during a tasting that my husband and I dumped out a sample because we couldn't finish it. Staff was friendly, and the place itself was... More

We finished a tour at the Conservator's Center and saw Special Label bottles with pictures of the animals that were rescued. This local winery gives 20% of its sales of these Special Label wines to support the Conservator's mission. Of course, we decided to buy more than we needed because for every 4 bottles bought, you got a complimentary pass... More

Not only were there vendors showing inside several tents, there were even more outside. Very well organized and FUN! Jane

This is a great winery. The product is excellent and the owners are very nice and friendly. We have purchased wine at the winery and at the grocery store many times. Every so often, they have wine tasting parties with live music. Lots of fun and excellent wine.

Kind of sad that we stopped here for the first time in November. Would love to visit this place on a pleasant summer's day! I bet it's beautiful. But we did have a wonderful experience nonetheless. The wines are good. They were very excited about a holiday cranberry wine they were offering. It was good, and I would recommend it.... More

The majority of the wine produced here is estate wine. In other words, they make wine from grapes they grow onsite. If you've ever had east coast wine then you know what to expect. Niagara, Muscadine, and sweet sweet sweet. But happily they have a few classic varietals like Merlot and Cab that are decent. So the wine are mediocre... More
