Raymond Fairchild and his band play real down home bluegrass music. Mr Fairchild is known for being one of the great banjo players in the world.

Yes mam, this is the place to be each night at 8 pm when they are open for the season. Great folks, love visitng with Ms. Shirley and Raymond. They have made us feel like family each time we have visited them. Good ol banjo picking and bluegrass music. Dont forget the bluegrass festival in the spring. Look for it... More

Spent last evening listening to Raymond Fairchild and band. What a treat! Great show. Especially enjoyed the talent of Danny Blythe on the harmonica. This was a highlight of our stay in Maggie Valley.

Raymond Fairchild and his wife Shirley are real down home people. We go to hear the music several times each time we visit Maggie Valley. Make sure to try some Balckberry Wine Jelly, Peach Brandy Jelly and can't forget about the Moonshine Jelly good for anything that ails you. Great experience, humble seating (take a cushion) sit back and enjoy.

Raymond Fairchild is the best! If you're looking for pure talent this is the place. The banjo is the main attraction and with Raymond, you will hear of the older generation greats. It doesn't get any better than Raymond on the 5-string!

We spent a fun evening listening to banjo legend Raymond Fairchild and his band. Raymond is a terrific picker & showman. He is personable & friendly, and is also a great supporter of charity and raises money to help kids. Definitely worthwhile & the real deal.

Raymond Fairchild is a true Legend. Check him out on the internet. This auditorium is not fancy at all. It is Pure Southern Applachia. Also, if you have ever heard of Popcorn Sutton from Moonshiners on t.v., his son dances here at times.

Features the 5 times world champion of banjo music. It's only allowed to win 5 times. Comfortable but basic seating. Can by moonshine jam here and CDs. Seats are ok, but the music is so great you don't realize you are not sitting in luxury seats.
