My niece and I were there Sat. night, Oct. 3, 2009 and saw the Smoky Mt. cloggers. It was the poorest display of professionalism I have every seen. There were small kids there that were allowed to dance all night, even when the cloggers were on the floor. It would have been easy to have just announced that for safety... more
My family and I were there on Friday, 5/8/09, and saw a great band. They had a young girl singer who was fantastic. She sang traditional country songs that really brought back memories. I haven't seen them since, but we'll surely be there when they come back. We enjoyed everything--the music, dancing, especially the "Broom Dance". Had a wonderful time.... more
I remember going to the Stompin grounds when I was a child with my parents and now I will be taking my daughter. What entertainment. Great and safe enviroment for children of all ages. I have fantastic memories of the Stompin' Ground. We went when I was little every year. I remember dancing on my daddy's feet. If you like clogging and other folk dances you have to stop by Stompin' Ground. more
