Very good burger

Small seating area. Burgers are a little over priced, that being said, food was great and an order of fries will feed two people!

One of the most beautiful areas in the Smokies to hike, explore, and generally get back in touch with nature. Vistas are great, fishing outstanding, and the experience one well worth the visit.

Early November trip to NC, we did a short road trip from Morganton NC over to Wilson Creek. Walked some of the trails along the creek, watched several individuals kayaking the river, and up river saw several others fly fishing. The Wilson Creek Visitors Center had a good amount of educational information regarding the Wilson Creek history and geography. Friendly... More

I've been going there for nearly 40 years in all seasons and all weather. There was a time when hippies, beer drinkers and hell raisers were abundant there during the summer. That has ended (now alcohol, etc. allowed now). White water kayakers from all over the world enjoy it when the water is high. Locals love it as the 'beach'... More

It is a dusty dirt road. But dirt want hurt. Water is clean when it has not rained. Watch for snakes. Just leave them alone. At dusk and dawn watch for deer. Still one of gods masterpieces.

It's a nice trip up there, although as you get closer to it, it becomes unpaved and very dusty. There are many different places to access the river. It is a very popular swimming area and rainbow trout fishing area. Please, please don't litter here! There was a bit of a problem with that. Don't be one of those jerks.... More

our family of six boys hiked the Harper falls trail about 1.9 miles one way. The first part is very challenging but then levels out after that and follows the creek for most of the way. The trail ends at the falls which are gorgeous. They're are two ropes to use to get down to the falls, one a bit... More

This used to be the place to take the family for an all day swim, now it is overcrowded and overall dirty. Some of our experiences are better left unmentioned, lets just say it was disgusting on our last visit. its a shame this was such a wonderful place to take a day of relaxation. Kayaking and tubing still would... More
