Loved the creek, it was clear and clean with Large boulders. Wish the visitor center had been open because trailheads were not well marked. Good area to get away from everything.

This is part of the Linville River Gorge. This is a gorgeous section of the river. It is great fun to sit on the river and enjoy God's beauty. You can tube down the river. There is also great trout fishing. Be careful to observe the signs as the regulations are not the same for the entire river. The visitors... More

Winter, Summer, Spring, Fall, this has something special in all seasons. Talk about a getaway. This is a go to place. People are friendly and nature is beautiful. I get away to Wilson's Creek as often as I can. They have a couple of small stores to buy drinks and what nots. The creek is more like a river. Make... More

This place is beautiful and wild. The trail is not very difficult in terms of the terrain but can be tricky finding the route depending on what... More

This location is at least a 1 hour drive from Asheville. Maybe it's something to check out while visiting Lenoir or Spruce Pine.

I love visiting Wilson's Creek. They're are amazing views from every angle. I actually had my senoir pictures done at Wilson's. The only thing I dislike is, the trash that lies everywhere

I have been privileged to work at Betsey's Ole Country Store and Cabin Rentals this past summer.
