Greens were great but I loved the lush fairways. I almost felt bad at taking that nice slice of turf with the irons. Well taken care of and a friendly staff that really acts as if they appreciate your business. 1/2 hour from Wrightsville but longer if you hit wilmington around 5 pm. 27 holes, well protected greens, ample fairway... Just an inexpensive public golf course in good condition. Only about 15 minutes away and an easy drive.

So far we have had breakfast on the weekend, lunch on a Sunday and Dinner on a Friday night. All were excellent. It is a very comfortable place to enjoy a meal. It is not super fancy but certainly comfortable and the service is excellent. Try rating outside on the patio when the weather is warm. The view of the... More

I play Magnolia Greens often and enjoy the course much more since the greens were upgraded to the hybrid bermuda grass. They roll very true and handle rain and heat well. The more heat the better the greens. The crew does a good job of keep the green quick and can make them very fast for an event when needed.... More

Greens in excellent shape. They are a new strand of Bermuda. Hard to find a pitch mark on the green. Lots of bunkers guarding the greens, but there is always a bailout approach. Three 9's for 27 holes. We played Magnolia and Camellia. White tees about 6200. 68.2/120( I think). Loved the course with a great pace of play. Tried... More

We came here for both breakfast and dinner with a week. Our breakfasts were perfectly cooked, and the coffee was good. Prices are very reasonable. Our dinners were also good. There are limited choices, but everyone in our group if seven found something they were happy with. They do take reservations.

Immensely enjoyed walking the greens and course is well-maintained. Reasonable green fees and great food in the club if hungry after the rounds!

Par 4/5 tee shots were all driver from the blue tees. Very wide and foregiving landing areas. The back nine (Camelia) par 5's have very tight approaches over water right and left respectfully. Greens are the new and are the high end bermuda type. Putted true with quite a bit of break to navigate. Would definitely recommend this track.
