I have shopped, fished and just sat and watched other vacationers for the past 15 years. It is beautiful and a fantastic way to just relax and have a great time.
I've visited the beach/pier roughly twice a month for the last 6 years. Always easy to find free parking nearby and the fishing fees are lower than most of the other piers in the area. It's not a good place to find shells, but the gentle breeze and rolling waves make for a relaxing day. Thankfully it's not as crowded with houses and... More
The pier itself is timeless. Looks like a site from a movie! The pier was packed with people fishing and there were lots of dead fish on the rails so there were plenty of native birds all around. The views from the end of the pier were beautiful.
