The pier itself was OK. Didn't go out on it because I am terrified of this type thing. The pier "gift shop" was dirtier than I remember. Seems to be a lot of drifter type people hanging out. Their souveniers were over priced, dirty and dusty. Couldn't get out fast enough.

Take a walk on this pier 24 hrs a day. No charge to access the pier. Simply walk through the store. Fishing equipment is also available. The store sells ice cream, gifts and other miscellaneous things.

This is a great pier to go to, the store has everything you need, open 24 hours at certain times of the year. The Pier fishing is only $5 a person, they don't charge to park your car, if you you just want to take a walk on the pier there is no charge for that either. The staff is... More

Been to the kure beach pier several times while staying in kure beach. Its your best option for fishing other than surf fishing in the kure-carolina beach are. Its a hit miss when fishing here. You can catch some sheep head to sun fish to sea bass at regular high tide times. Also an option for bigget fish. I recommend... More

I know you are thinking "if I have seen one fishing pier I have seen them all." Well, not so. The Kure Pier is about much more than fishing. The entrance is free and includes a pretty amazing gift shop. The pier itself juts way out into the ocean. I found the fishermen and women to be most mindful and... More

If you love to pier fish or just walk and set on the pier you got it here. Just relax and take in the view. There no better.

Loved the surrounding beach houses, a great pier to walk on, no pay for parking, pretty boardwalk, not too crowded, clean.

My husbanad and I were looking for a quiet beach and we heard this was a decent spot. Overall the beaches were nice, but the pier was nothing special. It is small and there isnt much to do.

My son and his friend loved fishing off the pier. The owners and all the people that work there could not be any friendlier.
