NEAT AREA

Lot of Beach access and so colorful! Loved the colorful beach houses. Fort Fisher also nearby and a great rocky beach front area.

Lots of places to access the beach all along the coast here. Don't limit yourself to just right by the pier. If stairs are difficult for you, there are access points with ramps.

Kure Beach Pier is great place to go to relax either by yourself or with family or friends. Located near local restaurants, park, boardwalk, and bandstand. Fee required to fish on pier.

We were here in March and the pier was not officially open. However, they left the gate open and we were free to fish if we wanted. We had a lot of fun just hanging out there, even though the fish were not biting.

We are here off season so not a lot of excitement going on. There were a couple of people fishing (no catch) and the weather was a bit cool. Cloudy misty day would be great view on a sunny day up and down the coast.

Kure Beach is beautiful! I have been there several times with my girls and look forward to going back. I prefer to enjoy my time on the beach, but there is plenty to do. You have Kure Beach Pier (the Kure Beach Diner is awesome), Fort Fischer Park, North Carolina Aquarium, Carolina Beach Pier and countless restaurants in the area.... More

Walked the pier after dinner at Freddie's. Holding hands with my husband, under the stars. Perfect end to our evening. Met a little girl fishing with her dad.

Kure Beach, NC is a beautiful strip of land jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean and, if you are in the area, you will want to walk this pier and take in the 360 degree views. The pier takes you approximately 1/8 mile (200 m) beyond the low tide mark which is not somewhere a "normal" swim would take you.... More

Kure beach has easy access to the ocean, walking paths, large bathrooms , play ground, swings, along the beach access are water stations to spray the sand off, all right across the street from the Kure Beach Fishing Pier. Several Restaurants are within the same block. And for now the parking along the walkway is free. The Fishing Pier charges... More

Each year the pier donates full access to over 300 special needs people. They come from all over the area to enjoy this relaxing day of fishing. The local "Got Em On" club coordinates the activity by providing rods and reels, terminal equipment, bait and assistance to all that come. Local merchants provide breakfast, snacks, lunch, and prizes for the... More
