We enjoyed the pier overall even though fishing was slow. It wasn't real crowded so plenty of places to fish were available. The admission price was reasonable and so were bait prices. The gift shop provided an eclectic mix of touristy stuff. Once you are on the pier fishing you'll have to watch your bait closely... Several varieties of birds... More

Fishing, people watching, wave watching....it's all fun at the pier. There is a restroom available inside. But be aware, there is only one and there can be a line!

Breathtaking views. Didn't fish here but there were lots of fishermen out and about catching lots of fish!!! The place also has the best gift shop. Reasonable prices! Tasty ice cream! And the game room was a blast!!

It's getting a little up in age but that's part of it's charm. Nice walk not too long. And the view from the end awesome.

The old pier has been around a long time and offers a great view of the beach. It was bustling with activity on our midday Sunday visit. There is lots of convenient dining close by. Of course the souvenir shop has everything you (don't) need to commemorate your visit.

We always walk to the pier when we go to Kure Beach. My son loved the night fishing. Staff is friendly and they have lots of unique merchandise for sale. The ice cream is a definite must!!

Nearly always something to see and do at the pier. When the fish are running, its wall-to-wall poles in the water. Inexpensive way for experts and novices alike to share in the fishing experience. Best gift shop on the island, also. FYI: longest fishing pier on the East Coast (I think!)

We had a lovely time at Kure Beach. The Pier is just as shown in the photo here. Because it is high, I don;t think fishing would be amazing here, yet, if it is not crowded with people, it is a possibility. My only regret is we were heading back home from Florida on this trip and were a bit... More

We loved it all especially the friendly service at the Blue Marlin and the very clean apartment. Close to beach, pier and restaurants. Can't wait to come back and stay again!!!
