Nice studio with laidback beach vibe. The decorations / space was very zen and the staff was friendly. The floor seemed a bit hard but I'm used to a softer one. Maybe bring a thicker mat if you have it. I took a Power Vinyasa class but didn't think it was too "powerful". Nice little flow but not really strenuous.... More

I've been practicing yoga at home for many years, but had never actually taken a proper class until I was in OBX for a month and attended Anne's Hatha-Vinyasa class at OBX Yoga and Pilates with a local (Southern Shores area studio). The first class was so delightful that I bought a 10 visit pass to use during our month... More

This was my first time doing yoga. The instructor was helpful and encouraging. It was a beginners/gentle class and at perfect speed. There were about10ppl in class at different levels so we just moved and proceeded at our own speeds. I think 15 was a little pricey, at home, I looked it up, it's $10for drop in, I guess we... More

The studio was what I expected pretty much. Class ran on time which was important as well. Will be sure to stop back in next time I am in outer banks!

As of late, Outer Banks Yoga has become part of my "must do" while visiting the Outer Banks. The classes are fantastic (although usually run long in my experience), staff are patient and knowledgeable (I've had yoga classes with Anne and Marty), and the studio has a very peaceful "vibe." I first learned about Outer Banks Yoga while planning my... More

I was just walking by to check out the shopping area, reading the class information, and a kind person opened the door to say, "we are just starting a class- would you like to join us?" Even though the instructor and the one other student clearly knew each other, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable, and enjoyed the... More

All of the instructors are extremely well-trained and likable, with their own individual styles, approach and personalities. They bring a thoughtful and gentle understanding to each and every person on all levels in a variety of class offerings, from 1st timers to advanced practitioners. This is a steady, go-to, must-do place for us each and every year we visit the... More
