We fish all the outer banks piers and we avoid this one. We have tried it several times and never encountered a friendly employee.

Always a great place to go out there and cast a line. Could use some improvements but. They sell beer and drinks and they display photos of peoples catch. Good place to spend the day or the night especially in the summer time.

It cost us a minimal fee to just walk out there, but it was well worth if for the view and observations of the beach, ocean, and people fishing.

We stayed not far from this pier. It has always intrigued me, the old wooden piers. I mainly wanted to walk beneath it and get some good pictures, which I did.

This pier is a nice place to fish, share stories, and just relax! Although we didn't catch anything we enjoyed our experience and the time to just chill with others having a good time.

Although I wasn't fishing there were plenty of people who were that were pulling up some nice sized fish, the pier was clean and well maintained and people seemed to be enjoying it

Quaint and clean with great view of the ocean. There is a small fee to enter the pier. when we were there in August, it was not crowded.

Went in the evening for a walk as it was close to our condo. It is old and does sway a bit. But that was kind of fun. No one was catching fish because there were sea mullets jumping everywhere. That was really cool to watch that. Not so cool if you were trying to fish. People there at night... More
