we saw fire works from the pier, it was very nice. it was next day after a hurricane, so water was cold, but waves were high, very beautiful. not much touristy, so we could relax in peace.

I went to the pier so that one of my friends could wave hello to her mom on the webcam. We enjoyed the game room for a bit, then took a walk out to the end. The moon was incredible shimmering on the water. I was a little scared because the pier was rocking a bit as we walked, but... More

If you get sea sick you may want to skip this pier, it sways from side to side in the wind. I fished with squid but had zero action - a few puppy drum and puffer fish were caught but others. The pier offers cleaning stations and drop nets. If you want to fish while the family enjoys the beach,... More

I was at the pier fishing with my son last weekend and we had a great time. The blues were running and the sun was out. The pier will rent fish rods, and everything you need for a fun day of fishing.

We stayed very close to this. You had to pay $2.00 a day (can leave and return all day) to enter the pier (but not to use the restroom, purchase items, or play games). Paying to walk on a pier was a first for us but since it was close, we went there. Parking is right out front. It's filled... More

best pier in all of OBX!!! something about the rickety old pier, the smell of the salt air, the feel of the weathered wood, the sounds of the old school video games in the pier house.. i absolutely love this pier. the staff is super friendly, funny and full of knowledge. i love to fish but i love catching even... Wow, felt like I stepped back into my childhood when we visited the NC coast every summer. The arcade had older games that I remember from those summers as well as some of the newer interactive games available today. From the various pitches of the old floors, you can tell that this pier is a blast from the past.

Great place to check out the locals and the fishing scene. Well built pier funded partially by donations from residents and fishermen/women.
