Thanks to Matt, our bartender at The Bonzer Shack, we found this little gem. Killer sandwiches with so many choices we ordered both breakfast and lunch to eat on the road home. Also found interesting spices and sauces, etc. you definitely want to 'stop & shop' here. We will definitely be back!

The shop is the surrounding environment. Immediately head to the back from the front door. Order almost anything and expect a fine deli experience. The sandwiches are hearty and the other selections lend a complete menu for a picnic or a late evening dinner alternative. A real surprise on a back road.

Yes, it is a pretty typical beach store - the usual souvenirs and convenience store priced grocery items, but oh the deli sandwiches! They use Boars Head meats and cheeses with a variety of breads and toppings, some house made. We have tried many sandwiches and have found them all to be creative, fresh and absolutely delicious. Tip: call ahead... More

Specifically stopped here based on the Trip Advisor reviews; we were renting just down the road. Not sure what the hoopla is all about unless it is about the deli sandwiches which we did not try. Typical souvenirs, you can certainly do much better than here. So whatever the mystique is about this place I missed it. Not an attraction... More

The deli is what attracted me, come to think of it, all delis attract me. Anyways they sell Boar's Head meat and cheeses and make a good amount of different sandwiches. The ones I ordered I loved them all. They also have a great Lox, cream cheese, capers, breakfast bagel. Those are my weekness and they fulfilled me :) The... More

We were fortunate enough to rent a house right down the street from this shop this year! They make really good sandwiches for breakfast (bagels, egg, bacon), lunch, or dinner. They have beer, wine, juice, milk, and everything else you'd expect a convenience store to have. They also have a souvenir shop on the other half of the store with... More

Going to the beach or already there? This deli inside a grocery store/ discount store and gas station is AWESOME! Shared a buffalo solider sandwich and a mexican wrap today. Added a three bean salad as a side. YUM! (and it was easy to eat on the beach)

I LOVE Stop & Shop Deli. I work nearby and seriously go almost every single day for lunch. Not kidding. There is nowhere else I could get a great well-put-together sandwich for such a great price. I usually call ahead about 10 minutes because sometimes they get BUSY, but even if you have to wait, there is plenty to look... More

Been going to Stop and Shop for years. Heard they were under new ownership and boy does it show. This place has gone down hill. New owner was very rude to us and his employees. We will never spend another dime in there again. So sad.

Call ahead to a avoid lines, or take time to browse while you wait. Under new ownership this summer so I found some of the gourmet items less stocked than in previous years, but still a must visit on any trip to the OBX!
