This store does not really look like much from the outside, but walk in and it has an amazing array of items. I mean, it is JAM-PACKED with good stuff. I cannot say I would make a special stop to buy here, but it was extremely convenient to our location at the Cavalier Motel. more

My family and friends have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for 15 years or more, and the Stop and Shop is a *daily* requirement every time we are there! The number one draw is their incredible deli sandwiches, made behind the little unassuming counter... they use fresh ingredients and have loads of different sandwiches to choose from. Last year we rented a house within walking distance to the Stop-N-Shop Beach Shop. We ended up stopping in at least once a day because we absolutely loved their deli sandwiches made with Boar's Head meats and cheeses, and they have the best deli pickles too! After visiting the Outer Banks for about 10 years, and always buying souvenirs on the main road at those cookie cutter stores, I happened upon the Stop N Shop. The Stop 'N Shop is a gas station, Boar's Head Deli, fishing shop, and souvenior shop that is located across from the Kill Devil Hills Beach House and Lifeguard Station.
