Location: Easy to find. Cost: A little pricey $10 each, adults pay too (I'm not sure why) Ambience: Huge inside, high ceilings so eventho there's a lot of people it does not feel too tight. 2 floors of fun. I have a 4yo and a 6yo, with varying interest. But they both had fun. They were both very engaged and... More

5 & 9yo had a Blast- they loved it! Especially the brick factory! We took a break & walked over to the cafe across the street!

We took my son (2) and niece (2 1/2) here on a Friday this summer, and I think we picked the wrong day. It was VERY crowded, therefore hard to keep up with our little ones amongst all of the people! A few of the areas had pretty dangerous spots, particularly a ladder hole on a slanting ship that our... More

I've been here with my daughter when she was between 1 and 2. She loved it then but especially loved it this last time... now she's 5! There's so much to do and to keep their little imaginations going! The water play area is my favorite followed by the art area! The only downside is it's pretty pricey if you're... More

I took my nephew in February, there were no lockers or place to put your coats and boots. If I had gone with another person we would have ran back to the car with the coats. The good thing is parking is free and close. The Discovery place is an excellent place for children to interact with other children and... More

We are not members, so we paid 10 dollars each. It seems like a lot for the 2 1/2 hours we spent there. My three year loved every minute spending most of his time climbing up and sliding down the slide, playing at the train table, or playing with a boat in the water. We were disappointed that some of... More

Just checked this out to see if my 2-yr old tot would like the place, and he absolutely loved it! We came in at around 9:30am, and there weren't a lot of people yet, when we headed out past noon, it was definitely packed! My son had a blast playing with legos and pretend play at the cafeteria. I would... More

We stopped in the Charlotte area overnight on our way to a family vacation in far western NC, and we specifically chose to stay in Huntersville for Discovery Place Kids. It did not disappoint - our three year old had an absolute blast, and my one regret is that we were only able to spend 2 hours here. As a... More
