Our group of friends comes down here every spring to fish the rivers in the area. We love to spend a session in the hot tubs every day. Rates are slightly higher after 6 pm and you need to make reservations for weekend evening soaks by at least Thursday. The tubs are private and not in a fancy shmancy setting.... More

Tub #5 has a view of the French Broad River that soothes the soul while the mineral bath soothes the body. Don't miss this - you don't need an excuse - you're worth it!

Loved our experience at this spa....only used the outdoor hot tubs but loved it and it's rustic setting. Nice view of the french broad river below! Squirrel watching was an added bonus. They empty tubs following every customer and refill. It does not appear that they clean them out at all. Maybe they can't use chemicals when refilling with mineral... More

it is a relaxing treat to venture to hot springs, to dip in the tubs next to the river or creek. to get back to nature and relax in a tub of warm water hearing the water rush by from the streams infront of you. but wait ! they at the resort have put up wooden view blocking covering something... If you are looking for an inexpensive mineral bath, this is the place for you. It is pretty primitive, but you can't beat the price. The folks that run it are very nice. You'll have a very private mineral bath located on the river with a great view. Clothing is optional and you are secluded enough to go for it.... More

I have been here several times and love the springs for relaxation. I have had a problem getting through lately to make an appointment. There is no one answering the phones or I am on hold forever. This last time I had Deluxe Tub #6 and there was NO pressure to the jets. They were moving around water but not... More

We always come to the town of Hot Springs once a year in the Winter and visit the Spa next to the French Broad. Always a pleasant experience. Very simple private tubs on screened in decks next to the river. You can take your own wine and/or food and relax for an hour in a beautiful nature setting. Very unique.... More

This was a little more rustic than I expected, but it was a nice experience. It is a trek to get here from Asheville on winding mountain highways, so give yourself plenty of time to make the drive. The staff was really friendly, and the history of the Spa is interesting (read about it on their website). While I enjoyed... More

If you're looking for a luxurious spa experience, this is not it. This is just a basic, no frills, hot tub. Some of the tubs are not very private, depending on the location. I could see cars driving by across the river and one home looks right down on the tubs, but they would need binoculars to see you. :)... More

My husband and I did the Hot Springs Spa tub this past weekend and we had a blast. The tub was clean and the service at the spa was friendly. The spa itself is a cool piece of history and interesting to learn about. Although this is no bath house compared to Hot Springs, Arkansas its worth the money to... More
