If you are looking for an inexpensive mineral bath, this is the place for you. It is pretty primitive, but you can't beat the price. The folks that run it are very nice. You'll have a very private mineral bath located on the river with a great view. Clothing is optional and you are secluded enough to go for it.... More

I have been here several times and love the springs for relaxation. I have had a problem getting through lately to make an appointment. There is no one answering the phones or I am on hold forever. This last time I had Deluxe Tub #6 and there was NO pressure to the jets. They were moving around water but not... More

We always come to the town of Hot Springs once a year in the Winter and visit the Spa next to the French Broad. Always a pleasant experience. Very simple private tubs on screened in decks next to the river. You can take your own wine and/or food and relax for an hour in a beautiful nature setting. Very unique.... More

This was a little more rustic than I expected, but it was a nice experience. It is a trek to get here from Asheville on winding mountain highways, so give yourself plenty of time to make the drive. The staff was really friendly, and the history of the Spa is interesting (read about it on their website). While I enjoyed... More

If you're looking for a luxurious spa experience, this is not it. This is just a basic, no frills, hot tub. Some of the tubs are not very private, depending on the location. I could see cars driving by across the river and one home looks right down on the tubs, but they would need binoculars to see you. :)... More

My husband and I did the Hot Springs Spa tub this past weekend and we had a blast. The tub was clean and the service at the spa was friendly. The spa itself is a cool piece of history and interesting to learn about. Although this is no bath house compared to Hot Springs, Arkansas its worth the money to... More

Nice respite from the cold winter weather. It is a long walk from the main building, especially if its windy. The spa was nice, enclosed on 3 sides with plenty of room to change if you are not shy. The water was not as hot as I like (102) but it was enjoyable. We had a larger tub for 6... More

My husband I and booked a relaxing hour soaking and then a half an hour massage...it was perfect! The only thing I will say is that tub #4 is not as private as I would have hoped, but it is winter. I imagine that it feels more private when the trees are in leaf. I can't wait to go back!!

We did not stay at the resort but we brought our best friends and our own bottles of wine and relaxed in the natural hot springs hot tub. They are under covered shelters and very private. Do what you wish at your own risk! The town of Hot Springs is a great getaway. Good restaurants and quaint little shops. We... More

I have been to the hot springs many times. I always felt as eyes were on us. Not long ago we reserved a outdoor tub. Upon arrival they said all they had was an indoor tub, no problem. when we entered the room the first thing I noticed was one slit in the blinds that looked as if it had... More
