Plan on 2 hours to hike up and down this mountainside. Multiple outstanding views as you get to the top and traverse across. Take water with you, a jacket and sturdy shoes. Best to take a helper with you:) Trail is treacherous so watch your step. And yes, 60+ yr. olds can do this!

Gorgeous views. Terrific trails. Beautiful vegetation. Striking rock formations. What a blast! Can't wait to do it again!

Took the advice of other Tripadvisor contributors and did this hike first thing in the morning after breakfast. It starts out easy if you take the path to the left, but gets more challenging towards the top. Unfortunately, it was completely fogged over when we reached the summit and we had no views at all!! Coming down was more diffiucult.... More

I really enjoyed this hike, it's mostly wooded and shaded but there are several openings when you get to the top with gorgeous views. It is a loop trail and you can choose to take the steepest part with the steps at the beginning or end of your hike. My husband has bad knees and back and our friend has... More

We started around 0910 and finished at 1100. We took the easier path to the left up but that means you come down the steeper path if you make the loop. It was a lovely dry hike for two 65+'s and we managed without problems although my wife was tired at the end. There is a Eco restroom at the... More

This is a very enjoyable hike with lovely, long range views when you reach the top. It is mostly an easy hike with an occasional steep climb or narrow path but overall one to be enjoyed by many. There were quite a few hikers the day we were beautiful views for everyone!

Visited the Mountain with the family. We took the more difficult route and didn't find that it was too hard. We had a 10, 5 and 4 yr old with us and they didn't have too much difficulty either. The views are spectacular and there are plenty of clearings for photo ops. We chose to descend using the longer less... More

This was a very manageable day hike...you can take as long as you like to venture the trail ( the path is rocky and uneven but I prefer it over the steps so that I can pay more attention to my surroundings). The view at the top was even more beautiful because I knew that I had hiked it myself...a... More

A moderate mile loop around the mountaintop affords multiple vistas. We saw many families and several dogs, proving that this is a reasonable hike for fit tykes. Bring a lunch and enjoy a picnic with a view!

For not a ton of effort, the scenery is very beautiful. It's also nice to have a loop trail instead of an up-and-back. The loop is only two miles.
