My older sewing friends have raved about Mary Jo's for years, but I'd never had the opportunity to visit until today. Mary Jo's is a huge 22,000+ foot warehouse of fabric, notions and trim. The staff on three separate visits were all rude. They refused to help, think they are better then you, and would rather socialize on the phone. Go for the price or selection but not if you need help with something. more

Mary Jo's is a seamstress/quilter's heaven. I have to drive 6 hours from Northern Virginia to get there, but it's worth the trip. I go at least once a year and stock up on everything.
