We visited first thing on a Monday morning (9:15 am to about 11:45) and had the entire museum to ourselves. It was lovely! What a great spot for children of all ages. Younger kids enjoy the animals (both live and stuffed) and older kids and adults can read the many blurbs and partake in the hands on exhibits. For only... More

The museum itself is set up in a way that families can stroll thru and see nature exhibits encased in there own small environment. It is set up in a way that keeps children of all ages occupied. They are always having something special... More

A very high quality museum. Make sure you see the excellent planetarium and go no a day where they're doing something outside in their village where people display living from centuries past.

Good variety and a lot of interactive areas. Just not enough information shared. Perhaps there no funding for staff to provide it. We didn't know or understand what we were looking at some of the time. Not enough directional signs... Get lost easy in there.

Schiele Museum is a great learning experience and has been a community favorite for as long as I have known. Schiele is very active with events and environmentally friendly. They also work with other local businesses, including the hotel I manage. This museum is more than a museum. Schiele has meeting space, provides learning programs for children, and hosts an... More

If you have out of town visitors and looking for something to do, take them to the Schiele Museum. And if you go on Wednesdays, admission is free.

The ShieldMuseum has undergone an expansion and if you have kids or grandkids a trip there will amaze them and allow them to see things that they can only read about.

We go quite often with our three children and its fun just wish the exhibits changed more often. It is a little pricey with a family of 5 but we thought about the season passes..
