This is the picture of the beach we all see on the postcards. The beach had hardly any people a little but down from the residential area. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Didn't really find any treasures as some sites had mentioned. But it is a beautiful tranquil place.

Frisco beach is a beautiful little treasure tucked away on Hatteras Island. The turquoise water is just beautiful. You can go in to about chest deep and the water is mostly very gentle. Very quiet, probably mostly locals come here. There is a broken down pier that makes for some very nice pictures. Would be great if this could be... More

Not my favorite place to treasure hunt, but its still a nice beach area. A little crowded in the summer months.

We stayed here for 4 wonderful days Loved the Ferry rides to get here. Nice clean campground right in the water. If ever visiting the East Coast would stay here again.

We have stayed many places up and down the Outer Banks, but Frisco beach is by far our favorite! You will love it!

Super beautiful clear water and the broken pier gives it an artistic view. White sandy beach turns into shell. Known as a surf fishing spot. Surf can be amazing but not for the faint of heart

I dropped by two days in a row with somewhat rough surf due to storm Ana to the south. The Hatteras National Seashore's parking area, rest/changing rooms, showers, and water fountain for filling bottles, drinking, and dogs were excellent. It is not one of the beaches with summer lifeguards (the nearest are Hatteras and Ocracoke). The beach is gently sloping.... More

We had a fantastic day at this beach! It's so spread out that no matter how many people were on the beach, it was uncrowded. We got to see dolphins all day long swimming just passed the breaks. Water was cold and didn't dare swim due to rip-currents (and the water was numbingly cold), but it was beautiful!

Great place for sunrise. For a nice walk. Pier is pretty much dilapidated due to hurricanes. I was there in the winter so didn't see anyone.

There really wasn't much not to like about Frisco beach! Its got the OBX feel just like all the other beaches down here. And you can drive on it, with a permit of course! Have Fun! Hal G.
