So many wonderful natural items to see, handle, discuss and purchase. I love it here. I love rocks, and spend lots of time learning about them. I was overwhelmed with the amazing variety and quality of everything there. Definitely fill up a $5 bag with beautiful tumbled rocks, look at and learn about unusual and rare specimens, have a special... More

The museum part was awesome. The store owner was nice but their helper made me feel like a thief! He stood right over me when I would stop to browse. I bought some rough from them last year and was not impressed.

Staffed by 2 20-somethings who ignored us the entire visit until I walked to the register with a geode and had to tell her I'd like to purchase it and have it cut. The young man cut it, and the cutter left lines throughout the center. I was disappointed for my son because I remember having one cut many years... More

Probably the best variety of cut gems and minerals we have seen. Lots of local and international gems. They carry just about everything in many different cuts. We found exactly what we were looking for and we knew what we were getting, unlike buying a gem on the web where it may not look as good as the picture when... More

You will learn more about gems speaking with he owner, "Kevin" of this place than mining at all of the local mines put together.Ruby City is a diverse museum as well as show room. In fact, it seems that everything might be for sale and/or is also part of the museum. At any rate, the place has great prices, free... More

Great display of stones, minerals and other natural items. Everything from stone in it's natural state to finished jewelry available for purchase. No fee to go see and many items starting under a dollar. We stop in to see what's new every summer.
