Rubies!

Had a great time here with our daughter and granddaughter. Found a sizable ruby that we plan on taking to a lapidary near us to cut.

Excellent location, loads of fun. Staff warm and friendly, Charlie was absolutely awesome in helping my 6 year old grandson identify stones. Well worth the trip and the price. Thank you for a great experience!

We had an amazing time with Toddy, Dakota and Ernest. Our 15 year old never admits he likes anything and he loved it. We all found sapphires. The 15 year old found one that was 6.1 carets. Highly recommend.

Spent the weekend here camping on site and mining for 3 days. Very much enjoyed our time! This mine is pet friendly so we brought along our Aussie. Very convenient tent sites- very affordable! We had a great time--the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!

Our family visited Mason's Mine for our first gem digging experience. We ended up finding over 40 carats of sapphires. The employees who helped us (Charlie, Dakota, and Ernest) were extremely kind and made us feel so welcome. Thanks guys for the absolutely awesome experience! We will definitely return. :)

Did not know what to expect. We did the "native" option of mining. Went out and dig dirt that we loaded into buckets then panned in the flume. Found a few sapphires. Attendants Earnest and Dakota were very helpful. Advice: get their before 1:00 pm so you will have plenty of time to mine. Closes at 5. Wear clothing you... More

We had a great time at the mine. You can not ask for better people to be around than the ones that work here. They all know their stuff and make sure you understand what you are doing and finding. They shared good places to eat and visit. Had a blast and can't wait to go back.

Our daughters planned this outing to Mason's as a combination birthday and Fathers Day for their Dad since he mentioned he'd like to try prospecting one time. It was a three hour drive for us and turned out to be well worth it! We arrived right as they were opening and were greeted promptly by the staff who walked to... More

This was actually my second trip to Mason's, I went 6 years ago with my late husband for our 3 year anniversary. We had an amazing time back then as well. This time I went with my mom and we had an unbelievable time. This mine is no where near mined out, we found several sapphires that were of cutable... More
