We went to Mason's twice last year and it was amazing each time. We plan to return this year as well. We had SO much fun! We spent the most time with Dakota, Brandon, and Judie, who were all super friendly and very helpful. In two days, we got around 150 cts of sapphires, the largest of which was around... More

The staff is super friendly and helpful and do their best to guide you to the right places to dig for sapphire rich dirt! One low price and you can mine ALL DAY (no per bucket fees like some). They even cut you a break for young children!

What a great experience! It was our first time at the today and the staff was fantastic. Charlie has an eagle eye for helping you sort treasure from trash. Todd was so knowledgable and freely shared his experience with all the folks at the mine today. I feel as though I met my brother from another mother hahaha! While we... More

no big stones here. not worth the 7 mile road each way to get to it. @ least they are honest showing the 1/8" long size gems you will get..

When you get there you receive a short tour and get your buckets. The inside guy is not a people person but the outside guys are very helpful. You pick a side and fill your buckets with brown dirt if you can find it. What you are digging in is the tailings from the old mine. They told me that... More

My wife and I spent two days here, mining for sapphires, and we weren't disappointed! We collected approximately 50 carats in the two days, the largest being about 4 carats. We saw at least 3 people find 10+ carat individual sapphires as well! The staff was Very helpful, and really assisted everyone in their quest to find sapphires. They made... More

I was very disappointed at the price compared to other mines. The staff was not helpful as we had no idea what we were doing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a waste of money and time.
