This is actually a review of the restaurant in the golf clubhouse - I couldn't find it listed separately. They're advertising their lunch, so we decided to try it. At first we were apprehensive as the dining room was full hosting an event for local kids. So we sat in the bar area. But it provided a great view of... More

Broadmoor is a really nice golf course that plays open. Although the water and trees do not rear their ugly heads too much, when they do it is unrelenting. Play solid tee shots and you will have a lot of fun. The course is not easy by any means, but can be played well by golfers of any skill caliber... More

Nicely maintained course, Relatively flat with gentle hills. Great for walkers. Easy to access from I-26 and 15 minutes to downtown Asheville and its attractions. Nice clubhouse with good food at the grill. Putting green and driving range. Pro on site. Affable staff. Enough water to keep it interesting without being discouraging. Lovely setting. Close to airport which is not... More

This course was in good condition considering the weather we have been experiencing lately. In fact we were pleasantly surprised. It is an interesting layout with water on most holes. The greens were good too with undulations both subtle and pronounced. But 5 hours for a round with the whole course being held up by one ignorant 4 ball is... More

My daughter's wedding reception was held here in June 2013. This venue was quite reasonable and responsive to our needs. The coordinator Paula could not have been more helpful. Every time I called or sent her an e-mail the response was almost immediate, which was so great! The space inside the clubhouse is great - even though my daughter's wedding... More

Am very surprised by these reviews. We played this course in late July or 2012 and found it to be in good shape with very fair and true rolling greens. I was concerned that the airport across the road would be a distraction, but after a couple of holes I didn't even notice the planes. Staff was friendly and helpful.... More

This course continues to go downhill. It is cheap, but you get what you pay for

The waterlogged bunkers, large dead trees on almost every hole and the clientele playing in flip flops pretty much says it all.

Had a friend whose daughter got married at Broadmoor! They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the green just off the large clubhouse. They rented the clubhouse for the reception. The clubhouse is beautiful with lots of windows looking over the beautiful golf course with the beautiful NC mountains in the backdrop. Beautiful place!!!

I think the frustration level peaked when we were 1hr and 50min into our round and were still jambed up on the 4th hole. This was due to there policy of sending out foursomes every (7) minutes. Thats right I didn,t studder. Tee times scheduled every seven minutes....The starter bragged with a loud pirate sounding laughter, "we got 149 people... More
