The park has modern style artwork but it is impressive. The hands of different veterans made you think of all who have served. All counties of NC were represented and each branch of the service. There is a small museum there also and they show a short film. The have restrooms also. On the other side of the parking lot... More

Cumulus Media presented The Taste of Fayetteville on October 12th in Festival Park featuring many local restaurants, a kids play area, live music and cold beer. The food was awesome and we had a great time... hope to enjoy it again next year!

We had a nice time walking through this area looking at all the pieces of art. It gives you a very nice patriotic feel. It is a memorial for NC veterans only. The more awe struck displays were inside for me. Check out the table and the meaning behind everything on it. Seeing all the dog tags that represent the... More

Beautiful Tribute to military veterans – A pathway from the Airborne and Special Operation Museum connects you to Veteran’s Park. There’s an Oath of Service Wall where I saw many bronzed hands on display, Pride and Service Tower, an amphitheater for ceremonies, A Living Wall with a water feature, can’t name everything in the park - just some of the... Very well thought out property. Was well kept and neat. Loved the "feel" of the outdoor fountains and walkways. A well deserved memorial for all of our brave Vets.

The park was very nice and interesting but the homeless bathing in the creek and loitering around on the benches was a real turn off

This is a small park but they sure fit a lot into it. I can't say I understood the modern sculptures though. Even after reading the artist description I still didn't get it. My favorite part was the table set up inside the building and what everything on it symbolized. The sign was too big to post a picture of... More
