After spending over four hours (history buffs!) at the free Airborne Museum across the parking lot, we spent about an hour in the free museum at the Veterans Park which is specifically about North Carolina veterans. There is a short movie and displays about the wars NC soldiers have participated in. Even if you have had your fill of history... More

Beautiful memorial park, thought provoking displays, nice park benches to sit and contemplate. One piece that was probably done by an artist who took the $$, smoked a bunch of pot, then made a piece of art that even he couldn't understand when sober. Still, worth the time

Travel the counties of NC with hand molds of those who have served, walk among the inspirational fountains or meander through the welcome center. Just large enough to enjoy without being overwhelmed and half of the park is outdoors. Perfect combo. Don't miss the dog tag chandelier inside the welcome center.

This park is a nice tribute to the Veterans from North Carolina that served our country. It contains modern (but easily approachable) artwork commemorating the service and sacrifice of our Veterans. If you're at the nearby Airborne and Special Operations Museum, this is just across the parking lot and worth the visit.

The park has modern style artwork but it is impressive. The hands of different veterans made you think of all who have served. All counties of NC were represented and each branch of the service. There is a small museum there also and they show a short film. The have restrooms also. On the other side of the parking lot... More

Cumulus Media presented The Taste of Fayetteville on October 12th in Festival Park featuring many local restaurants, a kids play area, live music and cold beer. The food was awesome and we had a great time... hope to enjoy it again next year!

We had a nice time walking through this area looking at all the pieces of art. It gives you a very nice patriotic feel. It is a memorial for NC veterans only. The more awe struck displays were inside for me. Check out the table and the meaning behind everything on it. Seeing all the dog tags that represent the... More
