The Cameo is an absolute treasure for Fayetteville. Not only does it show blockbusters, but it shows the wonderful independent critically acclaimed films that we normally don't get in the large commercial theaters. In addition to the regular movie fare like soft drinks and popcorn, the cameo offers gourmet chocolate selections, hot chocolate and wine and beer. There are two... More

The perfect date night, watching a movie with your significant other in this intimate theater in downtown Fayeteville. Just two screens with a small seating area and never over filled and you can enjoy a glass of wine to boot.

This is beautiful old theater unlike all of the multiplexes around. Very comfortable, good movies, great snacks and good prices.

This is a theater that purposely chooses films for their compelling stories. My husband and I love going here, getting a drink and some chocolate-covered espresso beans, and watching the "in select theaters" films that generate Oscar buzz and have meaningful narratives. Great place for a date. Also, you can hear the dialogue of the film in the bathroom so... More

Cameo Theatre offers a great venue to view movies, live performances, and events. I prefer the atmosphere the Cameo Theatre provides over large theatre chains. This theatre obviously prides itself on providing the perfect movie experience by serving a large variety of concessions and keeping the theatre, filled with comfortable seating, impeccably clean.

The Cameo reminds me of the Art Theaters we would go to in Georgetown when I was growing up in D.C. area. The films shown are selected because of the quality of the pictures. It is a lovely change from the large theaters in town. You can have a glass of wine a chat before the film. In addition, the... More

Fayetteville is lucky to have a theater like this. They consciously select films of substance and not the blockbuster. They have a decent selection of upscale snacks, wine and beer, in addition to the traditional movie snack fare. They offer a military discount and also various levels of membership, which lowers ticket price and opens you up to their select... More

There are not many places in this town where you can watch a foreign film in a quiet place with a glass of wine - except for here. The Cameo is a great venue for a date, solo, or with a friend.

Really love this tiny and quaint movie theater. Very intimate & quite romantic. Great for date nights. Mostly couples & seniors go to this place as it has limited seating. Highly recommended for those who don't like being in big crowded cinemas. It's like walking to 60s & I enjoy myself in there eventhough the seats aren't as comfortable as... More

I love this down town theatre. They have interesting movies, as well as midtown surroundings. Not a large theater but allows for enjoyable experiences.
