My oldest son loves going here. He has already asked if we can go back in the spring. We like to start off with getting ice cream cones (the waffle cones are the best I've ever had!). Then we go on a walk around to see the animals, which is free with the purchase of ice cream. Well worth it,... More

I took my daughter here to buy a pumpkin and take some fall themed photos. There were many great spots to take pictures and tons of different size/color pumpkins to choose from. We also bought some produce while we were there.

The Gillis Hill Farms Family and employees are all/all wonderful people. whether you are going for the Ice Cream, fresh fruits and vegetables, picking Strawberries or Pumpkins (and whatever else is in season), or walking the Gillis Hill Farm to see the period-specific Farm buildings, smoke houses, or just taking the kids to enjoy the cornstalk maze in the Fall,... Stopped to get vegetables. Ther egetables are very fresh but not one of the top markets. They have very good prices on son. Don't ask for a military discount because they will tell that farmers do not get a discount. Never knew farmers faced the end of a gun serving our country. It would have been better just to say... Gillis Hill Farms has been a long-time favorite location for my kids (ages 2 & 3) to visit for ice cream. Their selection changes regularly and is farm fresh daily. We love walking around and visiting the animals while we eat. We have recently left the Fayetteville area and are desperately trying to find a comparable location where we live... More

We decided to stop here & so glad we did. Their ice-cream...IT'S THE BEST! The rocky road & banana are my favs! After you buy your ice-cream you can walk out back & take a stroll around the farm, the animals are friendly, & the lake in the back is beautiful. They have seating by the lake in the shade... More

I grew up on a farm and this place brought back many memories. Not only did I love it, the wife and children really enjoyed it. Getting to see the many different aspects of a farm (animals, different crops, the barn and facilities, etc.) was great. Watching your children see these things for the first or second time is just... More

I love to go there for fresh produce but the best part is sitting on the front porch and eating homemade ice cream.

We love coming to Gillis Hill Farm. We live very close by so stop in for ice cream regularly. It is some of the best ice cream I've ever had, the almond joy is my favorite! We love walking around the farm and seeing the goats and piglet! I only wish they would rent the BBQ area by the pond... More
