Gillis Hill Farms has been a long-time favorite location for my kids (ages 2 & 3) to visit for ice cream. Their selection changes regularly and is farm fresh daily. We love walking around and visiting the animals while we eat. We have recently left the Fayetteville area and are desperately trying to find a comparable location where we live... More

We decided to stop here & so glad we did. Their ice-cream...IT'S THE BEST! The rocky road & banana are my favs! After you buy your ice-cream you can walk out back & take a stroll around the farm, the animals are friendly, & the lake in the back is beautiful. They have seating by the lake in the shade... More

I grew up on a farm and this place brought back many memories. Not only did I love it, the wife and children really enjoyed it. Getting to see the many different aspects of a farm (animals, different crops, the barn and facilities, etc.) was great. Watching your children see these things for the first or second time is just... More

I love to go there for fresh produce but the best part is sitting on the front porch and eating homemade ice cream.

We love coming to Gillis Hill Farm. We live very close by so stop in for ice cream regularly. It is some of the best ice cream I've ever had, the almond joy is my favorite! We love walking around the farm and seeing the goats and piglet! I only wish they would rent the BBQ area by the pond... More

This quaint little farm is a nice places to walk around on a cooler day. It's interesting to be reminded of what life was like before the Industrial era. The farm animals were very fun to watch and interact with. But the BEST thing was the homemade ice cream. It was so fresh and well priced. Free Admission with your... More

Great educational farm to visit! There is also the homemade ice cream there and gillis produce. It is great for upick strawberries during the spring, scary maze during the fall, farm veg plants to but at the start of planting season. It is a very nice place for kids as a field trip. They also have hay rides that little... More

I love the people they have to help you. Friendly and very helpful. Their produce is excellent and very reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone interested in seasonal local produce. They also have the best prices on Deer corn for the hunters in the area.

The Ice cream shop has some fantastic ice cream. Actually the best I've had. We stop by whenever we can. It's also a nice place to just walk around and see the farm animals. Great for young children. You can also pick fruits and vegetables when in season.

We visit all the time for fall corn maze, summer strawberries, fall pumpkins, and a weekly ice cream run. This place is amazing!! After we grab some ice cream, we walk around and my kids love the animals. The staff are kind and helpful and I've never had a bad experience here.
