Kids and adult will enjoy a trip to the farm. Fresh fruits and veggies during the summer at the produce market and home made ice creme in the house behind the produce market. Winter offerings include hay rides for the kids and pumpkin sales.

I've been to the farm a few times but this time we went for a school field trip that was really educational. The puppet show was pretty funny and very entertaining!

This is a good place to get local produce and has fun activities throughout the year. We visit pretty often from spring through fall. There's not much to do in winter. We love it.

I used to live a stone's throw from Gillis Hill Farm & it was one of my favorite perks of living in Rockfish. The farm offers cool things to do and see year round. In springtime, the flowers planted along the road are blooming and beautiful. In summer time there are delicious red, ripe strawberries in need of picking and... More

Gillis Hill Farm is just awesome. I have gone to this place for a few years now and I can honestly say that I've only had one bad experience, and that was when I drove into the ditch out front trying to get there before the bakery closed for the season. I was in dire need of a one of... More

A very nice farm. We enjoy the homemade ice cream. Love the lake view and the few animals they have. It's was a very relaxing and all you can hear is the nature. Bonfire and picnic area next to the lake. They also sale few grains & hay. Overall a very nice place.

Truly a jewel of a place out in the country! Ice cream shop is in an approx 100 yr old house complete w/ artifacts used in the 1800's and a sitting porch for relaxing w/ a delicious ice cream. Afterwards, there's a petting area of goats, pigs & horses in a country setting that's much the same it was originally... More

Just the ticket for a warm, sunny day! Lovely ice cream shop, just a few flavors but all are yummy. Cones are large and delicious. For 7 people the price was only $25 (a couple of us had cups of ice cream, the others, cones.) Spend some time rocking in the chairs on the porch or wandering around the farm... More

The best homemade ice cream around! My children and grandchildren love this place. We have know the Gillis family for a long time and know that they are a great family, they are also honest business people. The location is very easy to find. You will be pleasantly amazed at the wonderful produce thats always in season. The Marlowe's

The first time we went to Gillis Hil, we took the kids to get homemade ice cream. It was delicious! We have also went to the strawberry patch and picked our own. We also picked our pumpkins out there. The kids love it! Everytime we drive by, they want us to stop.
