My husband and I did a weekend in Durham to celebrate our 5-year anniversary, and the food tour added so much to the experience. Our interests are very different, but we both love food, so the food tour was perfect! It was so much fun walking around downtown Durham and getting to know what the city has to offer. Who... More

Loved the Taste Carolina Food Tour with our excellent guide Dean! We met at Alizarin Gallery on Main, perfect location to view art and a bit of the Durham skyline. Headed off to our first stop at Daisy Cakes, and when you start a tour with a cupcake you know it’s going to be good! Then off to Bull City... More

Went to Alley 26 in downtown Durham and had a wonderful time. Bartender was very knowledgeable and taught us to make great drinks! We had a great time. Highly recommend.

From our knowledgeable guide to the amazing food, we had a great afternoon touring Durham. Some of us had never been to Durham before so it was nice to experience a tour like this where we visited restaurants we might not have found on our own or thought to check out. Our guide, Dean Michaels, really gave us a lot... More

Received a tasting tour as a present, and what a very thoughtful present it was. Went on the afternoon tour and was treated to a history of the area in addition to the food samples. Went to 5 places - Daisycakes, Bull City Burger & Brewery, Pizza Toro, Toast and The Parlour. Very generous samples of representative offerings at each... More

I loved hearing from the restaurant owners and learning more about downtown Durham. I would highly recommend Taste Carolina and look forward to touring Chapel Hill when we... More

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Durham food tour. The tour guide kept our "foodie children" engaged and provided city facts along the way. We stopped at 6 restaurants and really enjoyed meeting the chefs, owners and staff. They were so accommodating to the group and complimented the tour guide perfectly. I would highly recommend this tour for families and/or foodies.... More

We wanted to do the afternoon tasting tour but is was fully booked. So we decided to do the cocktail tour, starts at 3.15 PM. Our guide was very kind, funny and she knew some great facts about Durham. We visited 3 restaurants, 1 cocktail bar and the cupcake bar. Loved all of them! We had some great food and... More
