I attended my first show at the DPAC last night and I was highly impressed with this facility. It is obvious a lot of planning went into the design. The sound is great and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. I applaud the leaders over in Durham for building such a nice place for shows... more
Spent last Saturday evening at the Durham Performing Arts Center. Very, very nice place. The staff was friendly and helpful, the doormen wear top hats, have friendly greetings and big smiles. The Center itself is very beautiful, the sound quality is great, it is located in a nice location with restaurants and the Durham Bulls Athletic Park next door. more
This brand new venue is beautiful and very well appointed. From the doorman doffing his tophat to the air conditioning vents beneath the seats, the planners of this hall have been on the ball.
