It is so great having a venue like this in Durham now. When I first came here the downtown attractions were severely lacking. Since the DPAC has opened the entire area seems to have come to life. We recently visited to see WICKED and the show and the venue is were outstanding. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat... More

This was my first time visiting DPAC. I came for the Wicked Broadway tour. I was very impressed with the facility and the staff. The facility itself is beautiful, the seats are comfortable, and even the less expensive seating options are pretty good. Don't be scared to get a seat on the balcony, in fact the first balcony right in... More

My daughter and I went to see Wicked on January 18---the play was awesome. This was my first time at DPAC and I was very impressed. The building itself is beautiful and right in downtown Durham. The view from the windows on the upper levels was amazing. Parking was great--we parked in the garage attached to the building and had... More

We attended Wicked at the DPAC last Tuesday. It was very well done, starring Laurel Harris and Carrie St. Louis. They are excellent in their roles. I understand that Laurel grew up in this area. I had never seen Wicked before and it was a wonderful experience. Enjoyed DPAC ((first time there) and now have tickets to Jersey Boys in... More

DPAC is located in a very accessible and easy-to-find area. We arrived 30 minutes prior to the show and were able to park on the street right outside the building! The parking garages were also nearby and require very little walking. The area is very open and well-lit, so the walk is even quite enjoyable. Inside, the building looks amazing.... More

We were lucky enough to see "Wicked" yesterday at the DPAC. It was our first time there & I was totally impressed.....the parking decks made parking close by easy & within a short walking distance. The concessions areas were great. My one negative comment would be that during intermission, there were such long lines for the women's bathrooms, some people... More

I just love DPAC!! The architecture is so appealing that I feel enthused just walking up to the building. However, it just gets better as you walk in because the employees are so welcoming and positive. The services offered from coat check to preordering drinks at intermission make the experience a treat. The acoustics and the view are second to... More

Our family absolutely loves the DPAC and we are so grateful to have this first class facility in our community. The staff are first class all the way, from the box office to the greeters and ushers. All very upbeat and helpful. Yes, the restrooms on sold out show nights can be a challenge, but they do their best, and... More

This is a really well thought out venue. We sat in Section 5 at the back because of handicap accessibility. The chair that they substituted for my seat, my companion was in his wheelchair, was not as comfortable as I would have liked. I will spring for the lower level next time. This is my second visit to this venue... More

Many thanks for your feedback. We too wish we had more elevators and apologize for any wait there may have been as is common on a sellout like Wicked. I also wanted to let you know that we are planning on adding new, more comfortable seats for guests that accompany someone seated in our accessible seating. Thanks again...keep the feedback... More

Nice, new facility, but has some obvious areas to improve upon. This was a daytime visit by my wife and I for a matinee performance of Wicked. The staff is very friendly and the facility is clean and well run. Parking is interesting as the attached structure doesn't allow an interior connection, so you still need to go outside...it seems.... More

Thanks for sharing these details. I am sorry that we did not do a better job of meeting or even exceeding your expectations. For future reference the parking deck located behind DPAC does have a limited capacity and I suspect you arrived after it had filled. There are five parking decks all around DPAC and most offer a short 5-8... More
