large stage, great theater where you are close to the stage at a reasonable price. Easy to find and $5 parking!

After years of wanted to go to ADF, we finally went to see Cedar Creek Contemporary Ballet at the DPAC. Superb performance at one of my favorite venues. We are so lucky to have a performing arts center of this caliber right in the heart of Durham. Every seat is fantastic, sound quality is great and the staff is warm... More

I am so glad you made it to ADF. ADF presents such a world-class line-up and we are very proud to play a role in hosting some of their biggest events. Thanks you as well for sharing this nice feedback about the "DPAC Experience". Over two million have attended DPAC events since our opening in 2008 and your help in... More

Just came back from Durham on a road trip with the "girls" to see a show at DPAC and do some shopping in Durham. We were all very impressed with the theater and even though it is a 3 1/2 hour trip, will be back. There are so many good shows scheduled that we all wanted to see. The employees... More

It it the artists that shine here. It is unfortunate that there is only one venue in town, though. DPAC is a bit full of itself because of this. As a season pass holder, one expects wider choices. But DPAC knows it's in charge here and we have had choices withheld from us because we bought the season. Best to... More

Great acoustics and crowd control. Parking was easy and within a short walk. Several restaurants/pubs within short walking distance. Concessions and restrooms located on each level of venue. Beer and wine available. Security and employee presence easily accessible and friendly. We will definitely return to this venue!

What a beautiful facility. Great view from all seats. Well organized and friendly staff. Excellent hotels nearby. Some hotels provide shuttle to aDPAC. Well worth getting on Dpac email to be advised of upcoming events! A quality experience.

DPAC packs a lot of punch in an architecturally beautiful venue. Floor to ceiling glass boasts views of downtown Durham. The selection of shows draws a nearly full house; I've seen several and my mom and her friends purchase season tickets. They serve light snacks typical of most venues and some decent wines and beer as well. Seating is incredibly... More

Having lived in NYC for over 20 years, I really enjoyed Manhattan and the Theater...however, the venue at DPAC is the next best thing...great performances, very reasonable and convenient. The DPAC is a wonderful theater in its design and comfort. My family and I have seen many shows there and now we are season ticket holders...very pleased and fortunate to... More

It's great to hear of this positive comparison to New York theatre. Our parent company Nederlander actually operates nine theaters in New York and with those connections you can expect the biggest new Broadway shows to always come to DPAC first. Our entire team here works day and night so that the DPAC guest experience can be the best. It's... More

I saw Ringo Starr! Loved the venue. I will be back. Staff were very helpful in locating seats. Lobby has a TV so could still see/hear the show.

We love hosting rock legends like Ringo Starr. In fact, since our opening DPAC has presented over 30 members of the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame. I am glad you were able to attend and appreciate this nice feedback. More

My favorite part of the DPAC is the variety of events they present. Broadway, concerts, comedy. The facilities are beautiful, easy access with a number of parking structures within walking distance. The seats are really comfortable and the acoustics are nice. And for some shows they have food trucks outside which is nice for those people who might want to... More

Thanks so much for this nice feedback. We do like to say we have "something for everyone". Broadway, concerts, comedy and the world-famous American Dance Festival. Our new season starts next month and will feature over 200 events. You can always get full details on our website. Thanks again...keep the feedback coming! More
