Shops were cute, but the boardwalk itself offered outstanding views walking directly on the sound, wildlife and the most beautiful sunset ever.

So overdue to connect all of the fantastic little stores Duck has to offer and it provides a safe means to get to all of them!

Duck is totally different than any other beach town I have been. I love the non-commercialization of the area. The boardwalk is nothing like I have seen before with the layout and how it is set up. The shops are very eclectic and nice. The place is very clean and family friendly. I really enjoyed this trip. We will definately... More

Our family took a stroll on the boardwalk to take a break from swimming in the ocean, swimming in the pool, swimming in the ocean, swimming in the...you get the point :) They had a small, but really nice playground for our kids to play on. On our brief stroll we saw otters and ducks! Lots of nice shops along... More

Spent an afternoon here on a rainy day, had lunch at the Blue Point - yum! Highly recommend! Then had a nice stroll among boutique shops and the kids enjoyed the ice cream - of course! Beautiful water views too!

We went in the shops at night after dinner and also one day in the rain. There are little different shops and if you walk the length of the boardwalk the scenery is great over the sound. And great ice cream too!

Not much more to say than what a beautiful way to walk around Duck! Beautiful views, a great way to get from shop to shop without moving the car.

This is lovely! Bring your camera, your appetite, your children, your desire to shop....they'll all be indulged along the boardwalk. Sunsets here shouldn't be missed, great photo ops with family.

When I think boardwalks, I'll admit, I do not think about quiet walkways along a soundfront. But, this is just what the Duck boardwalk is and it's a pleasant change from the commercialized social events the traditional boardwalks have become. Duck's boardwalk meaders along the edge of the Currituck Sound through the town of Duck. The town park, shops and... More

Love the area! Boardwalk views are amazing! Shops are fun, can get super busy during the summers and a lot of traffic on weekends in the summer. Only thing we didn't like is all the spiders near the food court and bathrooms. First time we went mens bathroom closed down but huge spider webs everywhere to get to them. 2nd... More
