Love the area! Boardwalk views are amazing! Shops are fun, can get super busy during the summers and a lot of traffic on weekends in the summer. Only thing we didn't like is all the spiders near the food court and bathrooms. First time we went mens bathroom closed down but huge spider webs everywhere to get to them. 2nd... More

Very charming, a must do at sunset, as it sets over the sound. Nice shops and fun to have the Sunset Ice Cream.

I found it more of a nature walk with unobstructed views of the sound. there are clusters of stores/eating places but there are also long expanses of the boardwalk that just the natural landscape so shopping is incidental. Also, riding bicycles is prohibited so mostly just walkers which is nice for a leisurely stroll.

After dinner, our family of four enjoyed walking the Boardwalk in Duck, North Carolina. It is a beautiful place to take pictures, enjoy the sights and do a little shopping. Be sure to take in all the beauty the area provides.

The boardwalk is a great addition to the Town of Duck and wonderful views of the Albemarle Sound! The new section is complete & open from Aqua to just behind Wings!

Great views of the Albemarle Sound with shopping on the street side. Take time to look over the handrail from time to time - at different times, we saw a snapping turtle, ducks, and a nutria.

The Duck Town Boardwalk was about 1 mile from our vacation rental. I think we walked it every day. It's a great walk for exercise and for avoiding the busy car, bike and pedestrian traffic on the main road. There is easy access to many shops directly from the boardwalk, or to stores on the main road.

The boardwalk has some shaded areas 7 benches here & there, nice shops, not too kitschy. Saw turtles, osprey, otters on the walk.

Duck is a wonderful little spot. The boardwalk is icing on the cake. It is perfect for all ages. A perfect way to visit the shops and restaurants on the sound without risking your life on the road.

Our extended family, including five young children, had fun walking along the boardwalk and going to the town park one morning during our week-long vacation in Duck. We had thought of driving down to Manteo that day to the Festival Park, but we were glad we stayed here in Duck because it was very relaxing and we didn't have to... More
