The town of Duck has used some of their funds to build a lovely boardwalk along the waterway. There are turtles, herons, ospreys, and other wildlife to observe on the water side, and cute shops and restaurants on the other. Very scenic and well done.

We have a house in Duck that our family has owned for over 25 years. This addition to the town is one of my favorite things that has happened. Folks who come to Duck usually want a low key experience and the boardwalk is just that. This is not a NJ/MD style boardwalk. There are stops you can make at... More

What could be better, walking along a path on the sound, that has many great places to shop? Very quaint, make sure to stop to the coffee/bookstore they have great muffins and lattes. Better than Starbucks!

The boardwalk in Duck is small, but worth a stop and look. There are several shops along the boardwalk and some places to get a snack or some food and drinks too. The shops have lots of different things from toys, to kites, to art, to clothes and everything else. It's fun to see some different kinds of items and... More

We went to the boardwalk the first night we arrived in Duck. There were a lot of quaint little shops and the boardwalk overlooked the sound. We watched the sunset. Very relaxing!

Finally took time to stroll the boardwalk with friends on a lovely January afternoon. The village of Duck put tremendous thought and effort into making this happen. And the first few months after it was complete, it was heavily damaged by the remnants of a hurricane. This beautiful walkway spans over land and water. There are many Audubon moments in... More

The town of Duck has done a great job developing this very pleasant walkway that has natural areas, water fowl, lookouts, benches and some local stores. It can be accessed from a number of different locations. Wonderful views and amazing sunsets. If you are in the area, do not miss this scenic walkway.

This is really a beautiful spot. In the early morning it is peaceful and quiet, and a great place to observe nature. In the afternoon, bring the kids, a chicken neck and a net and let them have fun crabbing. In the evening, the lovely sunsets are memorable. Any time of the day, it's a great place to get some... Well worth your time. Healthy for you in more ways then just exercise - totally relaxing as well. Good for the body and soul.
