There are some nice shops on the boardwalk as well as a couple eating spots. There's a really good coffee shop at this location. There are benches all along the boardwalk so you can sit and watch the wildlife if you like.

We had a great time walking to boardwalk. We saw so many birds and the breeze from the sound was fantastic. Duck did a great job creating that boardwalk.

Nice shopping and pretty sunset. Stores, most of which can be found elsewhere, are close together for easy shopping. Restaurants looked good but we didn't try one. Have a donut!

We walked a little ways on the boardwalk. Nice view and also saw a heron in the water there. People we met were all very friendly. It's a very pretty part of Duck.

If you are staying in Duck, this is a must stop for the sunset. Very pretty to see in the evening. There are several cute shops as well as some restaurants on/near the boardwalk. Definitely worth the stop.

Very, very smart to build the boardwalk. Not only does it wind around all the cute little shops but you can really appreciate the Sound up close and personal. You can see and enjoy the wildlife . It is the closest thing to being in the water with them.

Great shops, restaurants and views! Check out the Mustang artwork on the boardwalk and all around town. Make sure to stop in at the local grocery store.

A local gal told us about this boardwalk. We were unaware of it's existence or location until this past week. Great place for a walk at sunset. I would guess it's a few miles long if you take the entire trip. Worth a try.

This is a beautifully maintained ¾ mile (one way) boardwalk trail with bay/marsh landscape on one side and stores on the other--worth seeing just for this unusual combination.Very pleasant short walk.
