You can walk on this broadwalk from one shopping village to other shopping areas along the edge of the sound while enjoying the view of the water and and any activity out on the water. When we went, bugs were not an issue and it wasn't very crowded. We enjoyed the quietness, the beauty, and shopping at several of the... More

If you appreciate mindless development (95% of the McMansions are rentals), despoiled beaches (4 wheel drives line the beach) and an overall depressing feeling when viewing the wild horses wandering around their former pristine habitat (now occupied by tacky homes built in what was once handsome dunes) then Duck and its boardwalk (and Corolla for that matter) is for you.... Lots and lots of bugs and a really bad sewer-type odor at some points. It was bad enough to convince us to visit another nearby place to enjoy ice cream cones . . .

Cute little shops, beautiful views. Stopped in while on vacation and really enjoyed the view! The shops were nice and I got some really nice pictures!

The perfect spot to walk with noisy early risers. Beautiful view and Duck Donuts and coffee in hand don't hurt either! We get some breakfast and walk onto the boardwalk right behind the donut shop. It is not a Jersey shore kind of boardwalk. It is not very long and has a few shops but is mostly relaxing with a nice breeze... More

It's .78 mile long end to end. We've walked on, morning run on, stood on and sat on a bench on this fantastic boardwalk. It's great anytime of the day, but especially at sunset. What a great way to say good night to a fun beach day. Go!

One of our favorite places especially at sunset. We go almost ever night to get ice cream, drinks, shop or just to walk and enjoy the views. A must do for sure

The extended boardwalk is a great place for a morning run/walk. You have the quiet of the sound, deer and fox sightings and who wouldnt love the smell of Duck Donuts!!

Enjoyed the waterfront views and weather (though a bit humid this day). Several shops for souvenirs, with overall good prices. This is a long boardwalk. Due to the very warm weather and limited time, did not get to walk the whole boardwalk. Something to do next time we visit Duck Town!
