We stopped in here several times over the week stay to stock up on bait and other fishing tackle. We got great Adobe about what was biting, what to use, and some good places to drop the line in at. Everyone was very helpful.

My fiance went to Bob's several times during our stay. The prices were very good, even comparable to Walmart. The net we bought was cheaper than at walmart. The salesman (I'm guessing Bob), was very informative about the area, where to fish, what fish were being caught in the area and all that other fishing jazz lol. I'd rather spend... More

We stopped by as it was the first bait and tackle we saw. Our good fortune! We were helped with a license, rod and reel to rent for the week for only $30, and advice on fishing. We attempted to setup a fishing charter but were unable to do so, probably because we were still "off season". We'll definitely try... More

We visited the Outer Banks from upstate NY and needed some ocean fishing gear and bait. We stopped in at Bob's. What great group they have working there. The hooked us up with gear..bait and suggestions on where to fish. I highly recommend making this your fishing needs stop.

My boys are fishing fanatics and Ed really made the vacation for them. He was knowledgeable and personable - which seems to be a theme with many of the shopkeepers in Duck. Be sure to visit Bob's Bait and Tackle for all your fishing needs.

Nice guys who know the area fishing. They readily share what their knowledge and have a large assortment of rods, reels and tackle. They also charter fishing boats.

Super helpful staff. Set us up with supplies and locations to go crabbing with the kids. Located right in the middle of Duck downtown, easy to get to. Bait available- one stop shopping.

I had never gone fishing before... I walked in and was greeted by Bob's incredibly friendly staff, they taught me step by step what to do in order to get my kids out fishing... We ended up having a great time!

Hadn't surf fished in years and the guys at Bob's hooked me up with the right bait, rigs and tactics. Had a lot of success and really added a lot to my vacation!

Will get you set up on a charter adventure or teach you how to catch the big fish on the surf or sound. Best rod and reel, tackle, and bait prices on the beach.
