Fun shop

Great beads and findings for crafting while on vacation! We didn't have time to shop too much but nice store and lots of variety. Good atmosphere to inspire!

This location is no where to be found. There is a bead store across the street, but our visits there proved useless cause their sign says open, but it's always closed!

This place no longer seems to exist. There are two jewelry stores in the shopping area it is supposedly in. Neither are for jewelry making though. Across the street there is a beading store but they weren't open in late March.

My daughter (18 yrs, of age) and I recently took a four day trip to the Outer Banks and staying in the wonderful village of Duck. I'm always on the lookout for meaningful pieces of jewelry when I am on a trip. Unfortunately the first place I visited was The Glass Bead. The lighting was poor, beads were disorganized and... I stopped by with my daughter to make a bracelet. The shop really is very nice and very inviting. However, I found the owner to be a bit difficult to work with. At times, she was very nice and at other times, she was quite snotty. She reminded me of someone who wants to be nice, but is annoyed to... More

We went here with a 12, 8 and 7 year old. The woman who helped us was lovely but when the owner breezed in with her designer dog I found her manner off-putting. During the two hours we waited I checked out the bead shop across the street next to Tullio's. It was much more affordable and had a much... More

Found this place while we were stopping for dinner. Adorable shop, enchanting. Lovely beads, jewelry and goodies. If you're feeling creative it's a great place to spend some time. The shop boasts enormous windows overlooking the Currituck sound and the owner is delightful.

My daughter wanted to make bracelets for her friends back home, so I used the OBX iPhone app to find a bead shop. I had never heard of Bead your Art Out, but the name intrigued me. (it doesn't hurt that they are next door to Duck Donuts). We looked around, but most of the beads were too nice for... More

This is the BEST beading shop in OBX! The environment is bright and whimsical, the beads are TOP quality and the owner (Connie) is truly a "gem"! No better way of spending an afternoon or evening in OBX than by creating a beautiful, lasting memory of your vacation with a gorgeous piece of beaded jewelry! Love you Connie!

Connie is a genuinely passionate person. Vivacious and very down to earth, she never makes you feel pressured into making purchases you may later regret (which is common to beginning and experienced crafters!). From the moment my girlfriend and I walked into Bead Your Art Out we felt welcomed and inspired. Connie's creations are interspersed along with other local artists.... More
