The Chocolate Factory, was a fantastic experience which is only a fifteen minute stroll from Bourneville Station, which is surprisingly closer than you think when your imagining the wonderful chocolate in store! The tour started off with a lot of laughs when we all had to put on hairnets and for the men with facial hair were gifted with beard... More

My wife and I were on our honeymoon, driving through the Smokies and decided to make a pit stop in Dillsboro. After checking out Trip Advisor on things to do we came across Dillsboro Chocolate Factory. We didn't hesitate to drop in and purchase some goodies for family members back home. We weren't dissappointed at all. The hospitality by Bob... More

My family made a short stop in Dillsboro, NC on our way to Georgia. We visited the chocolate factory hoping to experience mind-blowing chocolate...after all it's a chocolate factory right? Well, I found the chocolate and the facility to be average. There was only one staff person trying to help four groups, and there was no fresh coffee. In fact... More

We had been wanting to go here for a couple of years after seeing some of the reviews on Trip Advisor and also reading some of the reviews by the owner Bob on other Smoky sites. This store is adorable and the fudge is so delicious and I am not a fudge person. We went on a Sunday afternoon and... More

Some of the best chocolate around. What is even better is it's made on site. Every time we are in town we stop. Multiple times. Once is never enough since what we buy never makes it long enough for the trip back home. Staff is friendly and seem to really enjoy working there. Plenty of choices for anyone who loves... More

I have been a chocolate fiend for many years, and have made chocolate treats in my restaurants for years, but never have I enjoyed such a collection of superlative treats as I did on my visit to Dillsboro. I have tried chocolate in Europe, South America, throughout Florida and New York and never have every treat been so satisfiying. While on... More

We stopped by after meeting SmokyBob (here on trip advisor) online. We normally drive back home from the Smokies through Cherokee and via Maggie Valley. We decided to give the Dillsboro Chocolate Factory a try. We found it in the middle of town, and as we were walking up to the porch, I could tell this was going to be... More

"Know" being a relative term, as I met him here on TripAdvisor. We stopped at the shop on the way from Chattanooga to our camping trip in the Smokies. The towns of Sylva and Dillsboro are adjacent and are both very nice places to walk around. In Dillsboro there are a variety of quaint, small-town type shops and eateries including... More
