The "Wild Mustang" tour was the highlight of "things to do" in Corolla. Sid, our guide, was friendly, considerate and very informative. We not only had great views of the beach and sand dunes, we saw over 70 mustangs all along the water's edge. The only negative were the sand flies. To avoid getting bitten, Sid was really considerate and... More

We took the horse tour in late March. The weather was very cool, which meant the horses were much harder to find. We drove around for about an hour and a half before finding horses, but were glad we went with a tour guide. You MUST have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to drive on the beaches in Corolla. We... More

We are a group of 22 family and friends who traveled down from Boston, 16 of us went to Bob's Wild Horse Tours and had a spectacular time. The weather was perfect (not a cloud in the sky in temps in the high 70's). Kevin was great to deal with, very courteous and friendly. Sid was the best guide ever;... More

Thanks for trusting us to take care of you! I guess I will have to give Sid a raise now and a bigger hat as his head is going to swell up. I know you had a choice and thank you for giving us a try! I hope the rest for you vacation was as good as the tour! Bob More

Bob's Wild Horse Tours are a great way to spend an afternoon on the beach. The tour guides are informative and know where to find the horses on the beach. Don't forget to pack a cooler and a camera for your drive on the beach! More

This was so much fun. We had always wanted to go on a tour to try and find the famed horses of Corolla. We were so lucky to have seen them. Our guide was informative with a great personality and went out of his way to ensure that everyone was had a great time. More

We took a group of 12 (6 adults and 6 children) on this tour. Our driver/guide "Sid" was fantastic. He was very friendly and provided a casual, yet informative narrated trip. We saw two separate groups of horses.... 8 or 9 horses total. The special tour truck also had plastic "walls" that were lowered before our trip to provide wind... More

We saw four horses grazing in a beach house yard. That is the short story. The longer story is that we sat in padded seats in the open back of a truck for a couple of hours driving down the beach and among the dunes looking for horses. The guide/driver provided interesting information about the unique area off the paved... More

Sorry you did not see more horses. As I recall you guys had a Nor'easter blowing that week. That can and will affect the migration pattern of the horses. They don't want to be out in the blowing sand anymore than we do. The horses are foraging in the woods for food as there normal feeding areas have not yet... More

We went off-season and we were taken right out by a friendly, informed guide. Since it was only the 3 of us, we took a closed vehicle which made the trip very comfortable. The ride out to where the horses are is fascinating--it's the continuation of Route 12, but the road is the beach! And it's not packed sand like... More

Great service! Saw lots of horses with great information. Best of all, I dont know how they planned it but there were some white puff clouds and one was actually shaped like a horse head, although I could not get a picture in time. It was awesome! More

Great ride up the beach and through the I paved (sand) roads of several communities. Saw about 25 horses, including a harem trotting down the beach. On ride back along the water saw several dolphins. Ride was a bit windy in te open air truck and a little bouncy at times, but well worth the minor inconveniences. Well worth the... More
