Beautiful beach! Only accessible by 4x4 vehicle. Wild horse country. The horses do at times frolic in the surf. Missed it this time, but have added it to my "Bucket List."

We did not opt to drive through this beach--we walked from a parking lot with 6 kids. Yes, call us crazy, but it's do-able. And lucky for us, the wild horses had migrated our direction so we didn't have to walk too far. The sand dunes were beautiful and the horses were exciting to see right on the beach.

A beach you can drive on if you have a four wheel drive, don't try it without. Let 20 lbs of pressure out of all your tires & drive on the beach. You may see the wild ponies but don't stop, or go near them. They are protected & need to be safe from your vehicle. The beach is beautiful... More

The drive to the place is great. The solitude is fantastic. It's likely you'll see some of the wild horses. 'Big deal...

Beautiful beach. Really cool that you drive through the sand, but drivers should be knowledgeable about whether their vehicle/driving skills are appropriate. We saw a few people get stuck and need a tow/help.

This stretch of beach is only accessible in a vehicle prepared for off-road use. The beach is beautiful, wide enough for vehicles to park, and more than enough room to roam. It is relatively close to stores, but it's quite an adventure getting from here to there.

It was a very clean beach, very friendly people, beautiful scenery. Perfect for fishing, swimming or just sun bathing.

Beautiful beach with no crowds and great place to spend all day. Added bonus if the horses hit the beach with you!!

This beautiful beach would be more than breathtaking if it were just the beach. But to be able to take your car onto the sand, to be able to watch wild horses, and to be able to take a fun tour if you don't have a 4x4 makes this really one of the funnest beaches EVER!

loved this beach so much! loved being able to park the truck and just hang out all day. coming from NJ, where you have to pay to hit the beach, can't bring alcohol or dogs and certainly can't drive on the sand, this was a welcome change of pace! we parked the truck, my husband set up his fishing pole...
