I enjoyed this complex. We were greeted by an older man who was very nice and friendly. He told us Michael and Clint were in the complex and we may see them. He told them their sponsor was there for lunch and since it was raining we couldn't tour the outside area. The tour starts on the second floor with... More

i have been 3 times. Once with my 8yo grand son. Once with my brother in law and his wife (who are HUGE Nascar fans). Once with 15 yo grand daughter. Each time was a VERY pleasant experience and there is always something that makes the visit especially memorable....like seeing Mikie last time!

We really enjoyed seeing this and doing the tour. The walkway let you see all of the shop. Wish work was going on though.

My husband, sister-in-law and I went late in the day on a Friday to visit MW Raceworld. Most of the shops were closed and all had left except for the main building with the all the displays and merchandise to purchase. Dean met gave us a tour of the facility upstairs and was very interesting, and funny too! We enjoyed... More

We arrived after the haulers and crew had taken off for Vegas, so things were rather quiet. But that made the visit BETTER. Explore the inside with a self-guided tour of viewing areas seen thru plexi-glass: Machine shop, Gears and Transmission, Shock Room, Suspension, seen the current cars that were getting ready for Phoenix and California, walked thru the gift... Very nice facility, but nicely tailored for informing fans about every aspect of building a race car. Excellent personal tour (FREE!) around to the assembly shop in the back and viewing of pit stop practice. If you want to visit shops in the area, make this the first stop and plan to spend a couple of hours. On Monday there... More

From Phoenix on business we happened to walk into the facility and immediately we were welcomed by Dean. Such a wonderful man. Answered all our questioned and so much more. Dean went out of his way to make us feel special. Mr. Waltrip happened to be there that day and came out to greet us. He was such a nice... More

We feel MWR has a ways to go with getting the best shop. Not as clean cut as other shops but has character. MWR is fairly new and changes in the organization probably has an impact on the shop. I would not miss it but on the other hand not be hurt if I could not see it. The extra... More

I'm not a big fan of Michael Waltrip, But still decided to check out the race shop. I have heard that they charge to see the race shop, but i guess that they don't anymore. You go up stairs and to the walkway looking over the huge race shop. You can take a tour with a guide but i didn't... More
