We stopped here to visit the restrooms and were pleased to find that the center was open, even though there was no one around. The bathrooms were air conditioned and very clean.

We stopped by the Visitor's Center as our GPS gave us poor directions to the attractions we wanted to see. We're glad we did as the center was nicely air conditioned, clean, with nice log cabin decor and very informative wall displays of the Cherokees. We were there around noon and so the desk was staffed with 2-3 ladies. The... More

Great information. Clean and the service was exceptional. All that were present seemed pleased with the service.

The staff was very welcoming and kept us laughing. We also enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the fishermen and the stream.

This small welcome center is easy to get to in the parking lot of a small strip mall of stores and eateries. The building is well designed with air conditioning, clean public restrooms, solar panels on the roof for electricity and hot water, and wifi access. Unfortunately, no one is there to offer the traveler any advice or assistance. The... More

I expected more from there. I was looking for information on the area and what to do. Instead it was like pulling teeth to get any information on what to do.

Wonderful tour by a knowledgeable guide. Not your touristy tour, but excellent focused small group tour. It may seem a bit pricey when you approach the counter, but once you are finished it was inexpensive for all that they provided. Many opportunities to talk with crafts people and then there was an excellent show with story telling and dancing.

Beautiful setting for a visitors center. It is located in downtown Cherokee so shops is close by. The lady was friendly and asked any questions that we had. Also love that there is a door to where you can view and enjoy the river.

The employees at the Visitor's Center were very helpful and well informed. They went out of their way to tell us about local places to eat and answer all our questions.
