Of the elk, early morning & late afternoon. Rangers were very helpful to let us know times most likely for sightings & they do a great job keeping the traffic flowing or off road parking to observe the elk & photo opportunities.

All the information needed about what to do and where to go in Cherokee is here. The staff is extremely friendly and there is free water, coffee, and pop corn, plus loads of pamphlets. Don't forget to bring your questions, they have the answere.

Cherokee is relaxing and family oriented! Peaceful and calm. If you are looking to party (the negative comment), stay at the casino! The people here are helpful and very nice to be so much tourists all the time. We love the decorated bears all over the town. They have special, individual meaning.

Enjoyed the trip to the Reservation which started with the Visitor Center. They were wonderful at answering our questions. All places to visit are close on one direction or the other.

We stopped to find out what to see in Cherokee and the woman was helpful but you had to pull the information out of her. She directed us to the Cherokee Village and we are so grateful!
