Although it was very cold and I was a little uneasy at first, Mr. Goodlow made feel at ease, the horses, mine especially "Buddy" was very easy going. I've been on a few horse trails and this one by far is the best one I've ever done. Breath taking views he pointed out the names of the mountains at the... More

On January 2, 2016 my boyfriend and I took a trip to the mountains, and I wanted to go horseback riding. He found the End of the Trail Horseback Rising online. Mr. Goodlow, the owner, was such a kind, calm, and soft-spoken man. The horses are very gentle and well-trained. My boyfriend had never ridden a horse before and was... More

8 of my family members, including my 5 year old daughter, went riding today. None of us had been horseback riding before today so we were a bit anxious, but excited. The owner and his staff were fantastic from start to finish, and the ride was extremely enjoyable. A MUST visit when visiting the area.

I found this place online and read all the great reviews and took a day trip. It was my first time riding and I think it's great for young, old and first timers. The trail was rocky but good thing Barlow has taken very good care of these intelligent creatures. They too know it's rocky and they don't want to... More

Had a wonderful time with family, sweet horses and breath taking views! We had 2 adults and 5 children ranging from 13 to 5. We all had a blast and no experience in riding required, just sit tight and enjoy!

We took a horseback ride with our young daughter on Thanksgiving. Goodlow, the owner, was very gracious. We were accompanied by his dogs. The trail was fairly steep and rocky, but the horses handled it well. It was the first time our daughter rode a horse solo. The views are beautiful and we were able to see Clingmans Dome at... More

We were so pleased with this trail ride! The scenery was beautiful with all of the fall leaves, cool weather, and the wonderful smell of nature! We took our 5 yo son who rode with me, and my husband on his own horse. The trail does get pretty rocky in areas, and just make sure your horse doesn't get too... More

This was the first time for both of us riding. It was beyond belief how wonderful it was to be able to ride up and down the mountains on horses into the clouds and then see for miles a different state, Tennessee. The horses where great as the owner said just sit back they will do all the work. Will... More

I took my family of five, three teenagers. None of us ride horses. The path was steep in places and rocky. The horses followed directions well and Goodlow, our guide, kept everyone together. He was patient, friendly and helpful. Everyone of us definitely enjoyed this trip and would return if we are in the area again. I, personally, was outside... More
