This is in the heart of Cherokee, NC. It is an island of tranquility surrounded by all the diverse and interesting museums, shops and restaurant most of which focus on the Cherokee culture and its traditions. The village nearby is a great learning experience for the kids … and adults. Altogether, this area is one of the greater jewels of... More

We were looking for a private spot and wanted to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor scenery in this area. Our wedding officiant recommended the bamboo forest. We strung some flowers... More

This is a beautiful and relaxing stop. The running stream is ideal for sitting on the bank and sticking your feet in or just sitting and being soothed by the sound if the running water. Bring you lawn chair.

My family and I enjoy wading in the water in the summer time, its free. We pack a lunch and take our chairs and have a great day there, after we are done swimming for the day we go to The little Princess restaraunt for a good home cooked meal

This is a wonderful park to take the kids in a walk to feed the ducks, and for $.25 you can buy pellet from a dispenser to feed them. The kids loved hiding in the bamboo forest after feeding the ducks. Nice way to spend an afternoon.
