The best part of our visit! We did museum and gym mining and a hiking trail but This stole the show! Great service. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Did a great job helping the children in our party. One-hour tour definitely worth the money and then some. Well maintained facility-restrooms were super clean. Stop with confidence-you won't be disappointed!!!

Alex took my two sons (ages 8 and 9) riding yesterday for one hour. We had never been horseback riding before and we all had a jolt of nerves when we first started out but Alex quickly helped us to feel at ease. Our ride was a beautiful way to take in part of Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We... More

Alex took my husband and I riding to the waterfall, it was the best time! We rode for 2 & 1/2 hours with him telling us about the history and wildlife of the area. I learned so much and had such a great time. We highly recommend riding at Smokemont whether you have or don't have experience with horses, they... More

I had such a fun time going on the one hour tour with my best friend! The tour guide, Dillan, was really nice and knew so much information about the trail that made it even more enjoyable! He was also very friendly! I would definitely come back here over and over again with my friends. Next time, I want to... More

Hiking and simply being in the Smokies is one experience, but riding on the back of beautiful horses in the Smokies is incomparable! Both of my guides had a lot of knowledge about the history of the people of the Smokies. They were both very professional yet friendly gentlemen and were a lot of fun to ride with. However,my horses, Buster... More

This was a great riding experience. We only went on the hour long ride. I have never rode a horse before and this was great. Everyone was very nice and helpful! The scenery was amazing, we even crossed a stream on the horses...which was different and exciting. I would definitely recommend Smokemont Riding Stables for a nice relaxing horse ride!

This was a really great horseback ride. We did the one hour. Our guides Tyler and Alex told us some info about the area. We even stopped and Alex took a photo of our whole group. We got to go through a deep river up to about the horses belly. They even require helmets for the kids. We did this... More

We visited this riding stable today, and couldn't be more pleased. From the time we called for reservations, (which were made the am of our ride) till we were done with our ride, we were more than pleased. The guides were very helpful, friendly, and knew alot about the horses and trail.. The horses were so gentle and seemed to... More

Thanks to a wonderful person called Nolan I had the best time horse back riding in years. Nolan lead me and made me feel so comfortable. He was full of information about the area and made the experience a great one. When I visit the are again I will go back, I must say it was $30 dollars well spent.

This is an excellent place to ride in the Smokies! Nolan was our guide. He was full of information about the area and kept us entertained. The horses were gentle and sure-footed as they led us through a river and then a tunnel. That alone was worth the trip as we have never had that opportunity before. The ride then... More
