We went on the Tour de Food Uptown this Saturday after my daughter gifted me with tickets. We met at the 7th Street Market where James took us under his wing. It was my first visit to the market, so that was a plus. We visited Viva Raw and Pure Pizza at this stop. While Viva Raw is interesting, it... More

So happy I finally took this tour. We had a fantastic time. They where able to cater to us as vegetarians as well which is a huge bonus. The owner Lisa is amazing and our tour guide was just wonderful. An overall perfect day! Thanks Tour De Food!

My four sisters and I spent a fun Saturday afternoon on this food tour. It is really a tour with 6-7 food and drink stops along the way. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city and it's history and landmarks. The food and drink was excellent and was of a great variety. Two of my sisters are from the... More

Loved the tour! Highly recommended! Leah was very knowledgeable about the history of the buildings in NoDa and I enjoyed that as much as enjoyed the food! My favorite was the Italian Stallion and pimento cheese at the Bodega. Heist had incredible food as well and my friend and I returned Sunday morning for brunch!

What a fabulous time we had on the "Tour de Food" in Charlotte! The guide, Meghan, was awesome, the restaurants were tasty, the city beautiful and of course the friends- new and old- made for a great day! Thank you Lisa at Tour de Food for putting together such a nice experience!

I went to UNC-Charlotte and haven't been back since I graduated 21 years ago so the city has changed a lot. I don't even think NoDa really existed when I lived there. So, that said, what a great way to revisit and learn about how the city is growing and changing while eating yummy food and sampling great beer. Leah... More

My Parents were visiting from Michigan and wanted to see a bit of Charlotte. Tour De Food kept them entertained, showcased several locally owned establishments and my parents were filled by the time the tour was over with samplings of several great restaurants that they would like to revisit on their next trip. Loved our tour guide Lisa's vast knowledge... More

My friend and I took the uptown tour and enjoyed it so much we want to take another one. Pure pizza staff was so friendly and they take pride in their work. The freshest ingredients and the perfect snack to start the tour. I will go there for pizza in the future. Being a senior the walk was a hike... More
