We went here for an opera and were pleasantly surprised. It has the feel of some European concert venues we visited The acoustics are outstanding, the seating is excellent and the sight lines are very good. We strongly recommend a visit.

While living in NY attending the theater was part of my life. After moving to CLT nothing has changed. I continue to attend the theater as much as possible. The plays and shows here are of great caliber. The people are awesome and the price is great.

I had the good fortune to see Randy Newman perform with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra at this venue last month. Randy was his usual engaging self, the CSO accompanied him beautifully, and the sound quality excellent.

Although in the heart in downtown Charlotte, it was very easy to find and park. (I rarely go downtown). Really nice facility and super nice employees. We saw Sound of Music on Thanksgiving Day. Awesome, top notch Broadway production. Having a performance center of this size and quality, I have no doubt helped to bring this and many other touring... More

I have to state I always enjoy the performances this organization has and I do believe from the shows they attract to the area as well as the arts center facility itself, they are great. I will state though their unpreparedness and handling of the shows during our inclement weather show a large crack in their management and ability to... More

Our ticketing staff and infrastructure were overwhelmed during the storm. With four shows in our venues over the weekend, there were literally several... More

You will enjoy your visit to the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. It's easy to get to. There is plenty of parking and the venue itself is as good as they get. I have seen a variety of acts at the Center and never had a disappointing experience.

No matter what is playing....a play, concert, or celerity appearance, you can count on the entertainment to be of the highest calibre! Have dinner across... More

I have enjoyed the symphony, ballet, opera, "Stomp"and even Bugs Bunny put to music here. ( and so much more!) The facility has been updated and is very nice! The events are always great! I have taken school groups to rehearsals which prove to be very nice! Taking children to the events held here will be treasured memories. Parking is... More
