We visited after 4 to take advantage of the special price. The lines were very long just expect that. My complaint some workers were very Rude...my son went to a station to ask for water and the girl looks up and says "what you want boy?" I will never purchase anything from a dining place inside this park. The employees... More

We have been season pass holders for Carowinds for many years now. Carowinds offers 13 roller coasters (3 of which are world class). They will be adding a 14th coaster in 2015 which will be classified as a Gigi-coaster. Boomerang Bay waterpark is included with admission from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day, which adds to the value. Scarowinds Halloween... More

Went to Carowinds yesterday and boy oh boy is that place is expensive. If you're able to get discounts for tickets, do so! Luckily my husband's company offers discounted tickets otherwise we wouldn't have gone. They're selling tickets for $58 per person at the gate. Parking is $15 for regular (be prepared to park far away unless you get there... More

We had a group of 4 adults and 3 children, so sometimes it was hard to please everyone at once. They have a childrens area, and they make it very easy to tell which height you must be to ride each one with a sign at each the entrance to each ride. However, when it was the adults turn to... More

We live in Charlotte and finally made it to Carowinds this past week (July 2014). Their waterpark, Boomerang Bay, was a lot of fun. They didn't have a life jacket small enough for our infant even though they promoted it on their poster and it was a rule that our baby had to wear it if we were going to... More

My son and I like roller coasters and have visited some of the major places, Disney, Universal, etc. Carowinds is a smaller park that you can really enjoy in a day, with some excellent roller coasters. Intimidator is one of our favorites of all, a very smooth riding coaster; first drop over 200 feet, just a lap bar and no... More

I was born one year before Carowinds first opened in the 70's and can only remember one or two summers since that I haven't made the trip to the NC/SC line to enjoy the coasters and attractions. Now, I get to take my kids and out of town guests each summer. As with any event location, it's only as good... More

Good as far as attractions go. Great coasters and better than average kiddo area. Lots of awesome roller coasters; upside-down, free falling fun. The water area was a nice surprise in addition. The crowds were annoying but could be worse. I didn't notice but wife and child mentioned the women's bathrooms were disgusting. I saw trash cans overflowing along with... More

We got there as the park opened, and The first thing we did was go to the bathrooms after our long drive. Every single toilet was clogged and filthy. Since we got there at opening, we have to assume that they had been clogged since the night BEFORE. The next set of bathrooms we could smell from the OUTSIDE. We... More
