We get the pass every year and we love it. We do not go on the weekends because it does get crowded. The Intimidator is the best ride they have and I was glad to hear that they are getting Fury 325 this spring 2015! I wish there were more rides like these two.

Lots of rides if that is what you are going for then this is your park. If you like good shows, pretty grounds, or good food. Not the park for you. The kids love the rides . But it does not stand up to other parks. Very long waits for everything.

I love amusement parks. This is a good one. Not one of the largest so it's very manageable for a day trip. Great attractions for young children and adults alike. The water park is also included in admission. Where does that ever happen anymore? Clean park, good carnival food, fun rides. I'm sold. Go on a Sunday to avoid the... More

My Daughter and I went to Carowinds. I've been going to Carowinds for years and the rides just keep getting better and better. The Intimidator was the highlight of the day. The people working the park were very friendly. Only draw back, like so many other theme parks, there is a high cost of parking, food and drinks. But, its... More

I always enjoy going to Carowinds but a couple tips for people coming to the Charlotte area. The park was bought out and parking is now $15 unless you have a season pass. Tip: Bring someone with a season pass in your car. Let's see, also Saturday is the busiest day to go! Always. If at all possible go during... More

I was talked into trying it again with my daughter, son in law and their kids. It was hot and crowded! 1 hour wait for a ride was considered normal. 6 hours and five rides. I hate the front of the line privilege for those willing to pay a extra $40. I will never go back! Everyone is tired and... More

We love going to Carowinds. Like most amusement parks the theme changes and the rides are the same. But, you can't beat time with the family....If they ride or I ride it's always Instant Family Fun. Especially since all of us meet height requirements for the better rides. No child is left behind...so much fun ...fun ...fun.

The rides were really good .....nice variety of coasters / fun for all ages. Planet Snoopy had coasters for younger kids. The Intimidator did NOT disappoint. Loved Blondi Beach, the wave pool, plenty of slides high/low. We stayed 2 days with season passes and probably could have gone back to try things we didn't try. Take advantage of all day... More

Carowinds has been my favorite park since I was a child. I love everything about it. I will never forget a special time when my Mom and Dad went on the 4th of July back in 1987. They are both gone now, but I have a picture that was the best. We love you Carowinds forever....<3

Visited here with just my husband, had a blast but I think our kids would have enjoy it even more (at the time they weren't quite old enough.) Lines are super long, food is pretty pricy - but that's to be expected at any amusement park. The rides they had were a blast and worth the wait (for me.) They... More
