What a waste of money! The park is filthy. Bathrooms and changing rooms absolutely nasty. Sanitary napkins in the shower stall, floor covered in filth and hair , stinks of urine. Water attractions nasty. Long long wait for rides when the que is short? Many vendor kiosks closed. Icee stand filthy and most flavours not working. Customer service terrible. All... More

Carowinds is a really great amusement park, and they've made a lot of improvements over the years. The park is clean and there are tons of attractions. We took our young daughters (4.5 years and 18 months) for the day and had an awesome time. There are rides in the Planet Snoopy section that we could all ride. My oldest... More

We thought that we would end the Summer by carrying our son to Carowinds for a little fun. We arrived at the park. There was alot of people there. We got into the park and found that as the evening moved on that there was alot of Rides that were closed. I was upset to find that several of the... More

The workers at there restaurants lacked customer service skills and I talked with the manager and she talked with both workers and corrected there actions and went into the back room and took care of it herself.. A guest couldn't ask for more... I just would not recommend to go on a weekend , way to crowded..

We get the pass every year and we love it. We do not go on the weekends because it does get crowded. The Intimidator is the best ride they have and I was glad to hear that they are getting Fury 325 this spring 2015! I wish there were more rides like these two.

Lots of rides if that is what you are going for then this is your park. If you like good shows, pretty grounds, or good food. Not the park for you. The kids love the rides . But it does not stand up to other parks. Very long waits for everything.

I love amusement parks. This is a good one. Not one of the largest so it's very manageable for a day trip. Great attractions for young children and adults alike. The water park is also included in admission. Where does that ever happen anymore? Clean park, good carnival food, fun rides. I'm sold. Go on a Sunday to avoid the... More

My Daughter and I went to Carowinds. I've been going to Carowinds for years and the rides just keep getting better and better. The Intimidator was the highlight of the day. The people working the park were very friendly. Only draw back, like so many other theme parks, there is a high cost of parking, food and drinks. But, its... More

I always enjoy going to Carowinds but a couple tips for people coming to the Charlotte area. The park was bought out and parking is now $15 unless you have a season pass. Tip: Bring someone with a season pass in your car. Let's see, also Saturday is the busiest day to go! Always. If at all possible go during... More

I was talked into trying it again with my daughter, son in law and their kids. It was hot and crowded! 1 hour wait for a ride was considered normal. 6 hours and five rides. I hate the front of the line privilege for those willing to pay a extra $40. I will never go back! Everyone is tired and... More
